yeahhhh diet coke my kind of girl. Gods she was so close to being able to just get past things. ugh Spike's gotta do what Spike's gotta do. I mean there could be a way for her shut that part out for awhile riight? some good sheilding techniques??? Poor Girl thinking that she has to end it,,,gods the ramifications here are going to be out of control. You are big meanie head. But fantastic chapter. I want more now,but the emotions that are gong to be there are going to be so raw. I am big girl I can take it so post more like now. pwetttyyyy please.

I feel so sorry for Buffy. She is so torn and sad, now that she knows she can't escape the claim (and Spike). But I don't think so knows that. So she didn't knew that Spike knows how sad she feels. So Spike thinks Buffy came around quickly? Men.. She is trying to block out what he does because it hurts her. Oh yeah.. that is the only option for Buffy; but Spike would have another one. I wonder how long it will take him to 'feel' what Buffy did; and if he will be back in time. And when he is back in time... will he see now that he can't continue feeding like he does or she'll try it again, to kill herself? (At last I hope you won't Buffy be killed by herself??)

I said that the last chapter was your best yet, but I think this one runs a very close second. The way you're treating the effects of the Claim is unique, I think, in all of the Spuffy fanfic I've read, and I've read a lot.

Buffy's inability to reconcile her Mate's demon lust for the kill is an important factor that many writers alter to make the Spuffy relationship 'work'. Here, you've taken on the challenge of writing a fic where the couple have to work through the unacceptable aspects of mating. I do hope that they find a way before too much damage is done.

Yes you are evil to leave things there but I'm sure I'll find it in my heart to forgive you if you update soon ~smiles in what she hopes is a becoming manner~ LOL. It does seem the only option open to Buffy and how horrible to think it's her only means of escape. This ought to open Spike's eyes up ~crosses her fingers~.

Well, that was a BIG cliffhanger. Spike has to know now what happened to her. He'll be back. Poor little girl, rigid vampire. A wonderful chapter. Love her trying to come to terms and realizing that she never could. Too bad it had to come to this. Really looking forward to the next update. Still quite a few ways this one can end. Loved it!

Even though your Buffy isn't the slayer, her spirit totally is. I knew that she wouldn't be able to handle it for much longer. But I didn't think that she would resort to suicide. I just thought she would ignore it and stay true to character. Loved the chapter. Please update again soon.

Wow...I'm not trying to be a know it all...but it's kind of cool when I am able to guess what's going to happen next! I just KNEW she was going to resort to killing herself. In that situation, what is her other choice? ( at least from her POV) Even though Buffy is not the slayer in this story, you have done a great job with staying true to her signature character traits. Buffy is just to much of a white hat to be able to condone or live with Spike's killing. Oh Spike....Can't ya feed without killing!?
I am really looking forward to what Spike's reaction is going to be to Buffy's suicide....attempt? I hope she can't go through with it...or he can get to her in time. Great update : D

you have got to be kidding me!!!! I don't know why i'm so surprised i kinda figured it would come to this. spike was forcing her to accept what he was and didn't even consider that she was human and how much of an adjustment this would be for her. yep, he's been an insensitive prick for a good four or five chapters of this fic. it was bound to come to this. will she succeed? will spike finally realize that he's gonna have to make some major changes if he wants buffy to stay with him happily? post soon. loved it so much. maybe this will wake spike up from this delusion that he's been living in. I mean, how could he possibly think that buffy (of all people) was just gonna accept that he was killing people. COME ON!!!! loved it
