I was so happy to find an update. And a good one, too. I just love Emma - even if she doesn't speak much, like in this chapter. I'd really like to learn more about her background...

What else... Oh yeah, I liked Aiden's explanation about Dawn or more Dawn as someone very powerful. This was a helpful chapter, it moved the story forward even with not much to happen. Seems as if the way to destination was the destination itself...*lol*

I'm hoping for another update and will be waiting patiently .. :)

Buffy has a lot to worry too. Ah, Spike was carrying Dawn. I thought someone had to because they were moving again. It's good to see Dawn seems to be her old self. ~ Emma didn't know that Spike was a vampire? She didn't hear all the gossip then. Even Aiden heard of him well more about that he is the one he knows about (prophecy). *grins* And sure Spike isn't angry to know that a mate, another champion, was prophesied for him :-D ~ Loved the chapter, Addie. Your a good writer, never forget that if someone tries to tell you the opposite.

Hey, I'd almost forgotten about this one. Nice to get an update. I'm liking Emma more and more with each chapter. Great original character if ever I read one!

Stupid gossipy slayersettes, Buffy has earned the right to have Spike to her self and vice versa. I'm glad Emma is immune to the mantra of vampire=evil. I bet having an ancient glowing green ball of energy as a sister will turn out to come in handy. Not that I don't appreciate the action stuff but I hope we can also see more of Spike and Buffy enjoying the prospects of becoming parents with all the craziness of hormones, weird cravings, and perhaps some empathy symptoms.

oh oh I am so happy for this update. Sorry it took me forever to read it,but it's a bit hot to be sitting and reading. GREAT chapter. Ohhhhh Dawn being all energy girl rocked. I hope they are able to make it out the caves safely and get to where they are going. Awesome update as always.

Buffy finally having a clear slayer dream was a welcome relief. The exchange with The Guardian was well written, and I like this new piece to the slayer mythology. Emma's back story is tragic, but sharing with Buffy has to alleviate some of her guilt. This was another taut chapter.

I'm already enjoying Emma as an original character, and would be interested in a story focused on her.

It was sooo typical Buffy when they had to fight the snakes and she spent her time talking about the snakes she has fought in her life yet... I really had to laugh out!
Second, Emma's worries are right - she doesn't know if Buffy really accepts what she did. Faith was mentioned, and I realized that I miss her quite a lot...
And Dawn..wow. It's somehow locigal that the Key hasn't disappeared after Glory. It's too meaningful to become just a story of 22 episodes... ;) Buffy also didn't lose her powers after she had killed her first vampire - so why should Dawn lose her Key powers, having opened just one door?

Keep it going, Addie...I know this one isn't one of your favourites, but it's good. And important. And it has Emma in it! :)

Emma? I wonder indeed where her path will lay (will she be able to be together with Aiden? Things doesn't look promising). And the snakes? Inconvenient. Many too much to be good. Oh my! A good think that the Key has gone commando and did something. Save for now but a long way to go. ~ Till next part, enjoyed this one :)
