Oh! the angst! I think William voiced a fear shared by all of your readers: how can this end well?
Wonderful, hot chapter... Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to read more...
And btw, I'm with you one hundred percent however you choose to finish this story.

Most intense chapter yet. I'm glad you reaffirmed that they still feel guilt even though try to be in denial, realistically they should feel that way. And unlike some reviewers I hope you don't chicken out and have them turn out to not be blood related. VC Andrews didn't do that with Flowers in the Attic did she?

Loved the insights into William's fears.
Very hot chapter but heartbreaking too if you look at William. He knows he is in love with Buffy; but she isn't in she same way and he knows (fears) that it won't end well. That she'll leave him when they are able to get out of there.
I still hope that they aren't related in the way they think they are and can be together. It will break WIlliam's heart and I think Buffy's too.

It seems like Will wants to get out but doesn't want things to change between him and Beth. Wow that is getting messy. Poor thing.

“I love you too, Bethy. Therein lays the problem.”
This isn't going to end well. . .
I want so badly for Dru to get what she deserves and Joyce too, for abandoning her children -- I'm wondering also, how close to the book, you're going to follow. I'm so glad you decided not to abandon this -- though I doubt that was ever really an option. Nice work here, love, keep at it.

William had fallen in love with Elizabeth. Although that is what I've been longing to see in this story, it also complicates matter so much I don't know how you're going to end it. No matter what though, I'm with you. Love this story so much.

Poor Will. He's got all these feelings that he knows he shouldn't have and they're doing things they know they shouldn't be doing and ahhhh.. I feel so sorry for them even if I want them to be together lol. I am as sick as they are apparently lol. Love this story, and I can't wait for more :)

A lovely family interlude - very warming indeed. It marks off how much time they've spent trapped in that house however and while part of me is desperate for them to get out another wonders what will happen to this pseudo-family unit (or more specifically to William and Elizabeth as the pseudo-parents and partners) once (when?) they've returned to the 'real world' *chews her lip anxiously*

That was a marvelous halloween. Captivity is not fun, but there is a lot of cool stuff up in that attic. Love tying in the demon book with his story and the whole idea of having the kids figure out which demon and then "researching" a way to vanquish it. That would actually be a pretty cool party. And the big announcement at the real Halloween Party... Wonder what it is and if the kids find out. Loved it. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter, whenever it appears.

Yay... an update!!! I had such a yucky day at the office that it was such a pleasure to come home and see there was an update. And what a great chapter it was. I love Halloween. I really like how Buffy and Spike made this day special for Dawn and Connor. And I really liked how you tied in the actual Buffy episode into this chapter. I am anxiously waiting to find out what the "big announcement" is. Great work and please keep the updates coming!!!
Author's Response: I'm so glad I could make your day better. That makes me feel wonderful. My favorite holiday is Halloween, so I try to go all out for it. We pick a different place to go every year to do haunted houses, ghost tours, etc. - this year we are going to NYC. I'm so excited.

I wonder if it gets announced that Joyce will marry Wesley. Though I don't think that will mean that they get out. ~ Wow, what a scenario. Elizabeth and William thought of everything possible. And Dawn and Connor had fun.
And good to read you want to write a sequel, you're welcome to do it.

Sure wish I had an attic like that in my house - they seem to have a never ending supply of stuff. love this tale. more please
Author's Response: Yes, it's quite easy for me b/c whenever I need something I think "well, they'll just find it in the attic somewhere." I never had an attic growing up, but we had a basement that seemed to house everything imaginable. My parents lived in the house from the 1960's to the 1990's and when they moved we had to clean that sucker out. I couldn't believe how much junk they had in there - clothes and shoes from every decade, records, furniture (filled with more stuff like pictures, jewelry, silverware, etc), old toys, power tools, holiday decorations etc. It took 4 of us like a week to go through it all. (don't even get me started on the garage-lol). So I guess it's not hard for me to picture this huge attic with all of this stuff in it, especially if you think it's a mansion and Dru & Ethan have probably lived there for at least 40 or even 50 years. Glad you are enjoying the story!

Now that was a Halloween.I love the way you brought out Spike with his blond hair, and Buffy the Slayer. How smart William was at building the haunted house for Dawn and Conner. And compleating there night with yet another story from Will. And I also loved the way Will goaded Dru,about his hair. All in all this was a grate chapter.Cant wait for the next one.As far as stories go you rock.
