Awesome chapter. I loved it, and I am anxiously waiting for more. And thank God that this differs so much from the bloody book. I know you probably won't answer me cuz you're the author, and HEY, gotta keep some secrets, but it can't hurt to ask anyway: will we be graced with a happy ending?

Author's Response: Thank you for your encouragement with the writing of the sex scene. This was really my first one and there was so much build up to it that I was suffering from severe performance anxiety. I'm glad I pulled it off anyway. As for the happy ending, they do get out. That's happy, right?

OMG! Amazing. Thank you so much for the update. That was so HOT!

Jennybean, my friend lent me the movie and I watched it last night; it wasn't great. They did a good job of casting the roles but otherwise I was not too impressed.

I have also started reading the book again after all these years and to be honest, so far it's been pretty boring, hope it picks up soon!

Author's Response: Yes, the movie is not that good. I remember when it first came out that I was so excited, but then they never even touched on the incest, which is a major part of the story. You could maybe get some hints of it if you had read the book, but you had to reach. I do take some elements from the movie though because to be honest I don't remember what parts are in the movie and what parts are in the book. They kind of blend together since I haven't read/seen either of them in a long time. I know in the book too they were in the attic for a long time - I think 4 years, and I think she was only 12 & he 14. I started them off older so we could get to the UST sooner :)

Oh, they really did it :) But they'll get a bit of a problem.. at last in 9 month. They won't get able to get birth control items from their grandma. I don't think she'll allow that. I wonder where it will go from here.... they are still on the attic.

The bit of them role playing was brilliant, and to make them be Buffy and Spike, was a stroke of genius. Not quite sure I want details regarding the feild hockey stick, tho... Such a marvelous and tender moment, and I just wonder what they're gonna do when it comes time to think about it later. Well worth the wait. Can't wait for more!

First of all..Wow..That was pretty intense...Especially with all the buildup..But, Uh Oh..This is not a good thing. Stating the obvious here..but they ARE brother and sister. I know in the book this is based on they really were brother and sister..but I wish somehow it could come to light that they are NOT brother and sister. Don't ask me how that would work..

I'm not flinching from this story..Just out of affection for these characters and the consequences that could happen..I want it to work out for them! The book was good..but what happened to the characters SUCKED! They were never completely happy even after escaping the attic...always in love with one another, but unable to act on it. I want a happier ending for these two. * lip is sticking out here*
Ok..I'm sorry..This is your story..and I will continue to enjoy it no matter what you have planned for it..
As usual, looking forward to more!

Author's Response: I share your feelings and want a happy ending too, but I love complicated relationships. It's part of the reason that I loved this series when I first read it and why I love the Spuffy relationship. It's so screwy, but you know that they're perfect together if they could just get over a few issues. You just can't help but route for them.

Oh my...they've certainly crossed the Rubicon haven't they? There's no turning back now so here's to some movement onward and upwards ~crosses her fingers~. The thing that troubles me though (issues of morality aside seeing as how their circumstances are so decidedly ABNORMAL) is the issue of protection. Being virgins and with only limited experience of other sexual activities there's no obvious cause for them to worry about disease. And thank goodness for that small mercy seeing as how neither Dru nor Joyce seem to think the children require any medical attention beyond what they can provide for themselves - the right pair of COWS! ~Grrr...aargh~ But what of potential pregnancy? That would certainly make their already difficult situation even more precarious!! Can't wait for the next update 8-)
