Catching up on all I've missed here & it remains as fantastic as ever! Love Lorne here - great characterization - true to Canon but with more depth & sweetness. I also love the emotional content of your work. There is so much that's true to life here - it's so relatable. I love how you don't make it easy & fluffy & perfect - they have to work at it & it makes it so much more rewarding in the end.

this is not good. i was hoping things would have gotten better with them. i don't want them to find other people. i'm hoping for a happy spuffy ending here. hopefully nothing happens on his date.

Well not that she has something else to put so much energy into, maybe she'll stop picking that scab that is her relationshion with Spike and let it heal enough to begin forgiving and moving into a real relationship, as friends or more as time goes by. After all, they need to be together in some capacity due to their daughter and Buffy picking and picking all the time and never allowing anything to heal over complete is really counterproductive. Can't wait for more cause I know things are gonna start looking up soon.

For the first time in . . . what seemed like forever, Buffy had an outlet for that excess energy inside her. She had a focus for it, and that focus and outlet was positive. That's good! First time Buffy will do something for her (work, education) ad don't let Angel talk her out of it. :) ~ Good chapter summary, I was looking for the same now to write down. Till next chapter!

Nicely done-- They can focus on something positive instead of always dragging in the past. They can truly be happy for each other's excitment. You did a very nice job of portraying Spike as being willing to help without pouting too much when Buffy was going to ask Willow to baby-sit. He showed support, as well as the depth of his feelings for his daughter, and presented it in a way that furthered the positive feelings. I'm so glad you are continuing on this fic-- Great work.

Glad to see happy Buffy make another appearance, even if I find it weird to be happy about going back to school...lol! At least it's something, I guess I was never a big fan of school. Great chapter=)

Yeah that's it... the things we do for love (in the name of love). Buffy acknowledged now what she did in the past (and what was done to her). I hope that will help her take the right step (with Lorne's help). But Lindsey was very young. Even if Buffy was complaining what her doing did to her: How much will Lindsey remember / did Buffy's acting hurt Lindsey? If I remember correctly was Lindsey happy to have Spike around. I still hope Buffy will work everything out. ~ Good chapter :)

Thanks for not forgetting this story. I'm glad Buffy got the chance to vent. Once she feels better about herself, it should have a positive impact on he relationship with Spike. And once she learns how to forgive herself, she can forgive Spike that one mistake, of choosing for her. Seems there is so much to be thrilled with, if she can just get past that horrible mistake. I know you'll get her there-- in her own time and through her own path. Keep it coming!
