All I have to say is, it's about damn time...lol! He just had to ruin the moment by bringing Doyle up again, just can't let it go. But I'm also curious as to what he wanted. I was thinking they would have taken the naughtiness to the bedroom, but I guess they'll come to that later. Great chapter=)

Spike's overreaction to Doyle's call was a great catalyst for his possessive behavior. I loved the change of pace from all the fuming and stomping around whenever Lindsey needed something. The frantic coupling was vivid, and now Buffy's finally admitted she's in love, too. Thanks for this entertaining chapter.

Author's Response: It was frustrating to write with all the interruptions cause I just wanted to get to it lol, but I wanted also to inject some light heartedness at the same time

Forced is a subjective term seemed to me like she was forcing him. Spike tried to get Buffy to say that she wasn't ok with it and Buffy lied to him. So call it whatever you want forced, encouraged, tricked, conned she shouldn't of done it in the first place.

Author's Response: However, if she told him she wasn't okay with it, but was not ready to be with him, then she could be seen as cruel and giving him false hope. She was trying to do right by him. Sometimes we try to do things that we think is right, and later realize, isn't.

Author's Response: and he was trying to manipulate her into admitting something she wasn't ready for by only agreeing to go on the date to make her jealous and then trying to get her to say she didn't want him to go.

Seems as if Spike got jealous when he heard Buffy talking to Doyle. Well even if Buffy told him to date it was his decision to do so. And - even he didn't now it - making Buffy jealous. He didn't have the slightest clue, huh? Now I hope he believes her that she loves him. :) And thanks for no Buffy/Doyle.

Wow! That was a complete surprise. I was expecting her to blurt out something or for a nice little talk, but this, I was totally shocked by. Loved it! It perfectly with the character you have developed over these chapters. Somebody who holds back and tries to plan as much as possible then just jumps into things feet first. This is a brilliant story. I love how it's really developed because it makes steamy chapters like this, all the better.
