EEP! Oh, eepers creepers. Wait, I've missed a consonant somewhere there, haven't I? Anyway, wow. Wonder how Spike'll take this. Though, the tears and the not-yelling (at this precise moment =P) seems to lead to a.. a.. a slightly less 'GRR, DAMMIT DON'T TELL ME YOU LOVE ME IF YOU DON'T MEAN IT' (which, by the way reminds me of that rhyme-y thing' don't say you love me unless you really mean it, 'cause I might do something crazy like really believe it, or something of the sort) reaction. And, oh, look, I lost track of my review about twice there. Ugh, sometimes I think maybe I rival Willow in babbledygook. Sometimes, sometimes.

I really hate Buffy right now. She is such a coward. If she really wanted Spike to be happy she would tell him the truth. Instead she forces him to date which is something he didn't want to do in the first place. I hope it is serious with Spike and that girl he is dating. Buffy can settle for Doyle.

Author's Response: The course of true love never did run smooth. She didn't force him to date, she encouraged.

Great chapter. Have a feeling Buffy is making assumptions about that phone call that she's gonna end up kicking herself for later. Love that things between them are back to being easy, except with the whole Buffy not telling him what she should be. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Sorry, I'm feeling a loss of Spuffy just as I am the Spuffy fandom in general.

What can I say-- You've done it again! Made us all worry that Buffy and Spike were going to a place so dark, that their relationship might not survive. And now look, Buffy is going to admit she loves him! The heavens parted and the birds started singing!!! With your ability to right the wrongs of twisted relationships, I'm beginning to wonder if you are a therapist. You know, LMFT by day and writer of sexy fanfic by night? Ah Buffy... she tries so hard yet 'You'll never be friends'. They are more than that and she should slowly acknowledge it. Like telling him again how much it hurts to see him going on a date or asking him about. ~ Missed several chapters! Have to catch up now :)

It's obvious Spike is "Shopping" because that's what buffy wants him to do. I'm sure he's not happy doing it, unless he makes a friend.

I certainly hope Lorne has knocked some sense into Buffy. I guess she just needed to see it herself and what an incredible relationship they could an should have, not only would the physical relationship be GREAT, duh, but they connect on so many other levels, and she needs to do this for herself, not just their daughter.
