Wow, that was some writing. Every chapter was great.
I hope that the tapes don't show anything, but since this is not the end of the story I am sure the General will discover something. Probably the cell phone I would guess. Thanks for so many chapters and the frequent updates.

Good chapter, I'm really wondering how things will play out. I probably should have expected Riley being killed, but didn't. Really awesome job. I can't wait for chapter nineteen!

Only just picked this story up... and, HEY, it's very, very good!

I've always thought the Initiative should be resurrected as an organisation. The combination of a human/demon force against the Scoobies rings truer for any futureverse. They're the sort of organisation that, if destroyed by Buffy this time, could, like Wolfram and Hart, regroup and reemerge elsewhere.

Having Spike as a captive give a perfect setting for a whole series of Scoobies versus the Initiative stories. The only other seriously worthwhile fanfics I know using the Initiative are Kimi's Voiceverse series, but there the Initiative is using it's turned vamps to fight for humankind... I hope this story goes on to be a great a read as Kimi's stuff.
