I have a solution - JL1980- Stop posting here. The reader base at this site are obviously too rude and immature to appreciate your offerings. I'm not seeing this type of crap at any of the other sites you're posting at so maybe there is a reason for that. Maybe it's the age of the reviewers at Spuffy Realm? I don't know. Your fic is fine. It's better than fine. It's great. And if I had to say one thing against it, I'd maybe ask you to tone down Buffy calling Spike 'baby', but that is my issue, not yorus. Only becuz it reminds me of Dirty Dancing. So if you decide to post elswhere, I'll know where to look for it and hope you don't get this treatment other places.

Yeah, well I've never claimed to be mature or "take the high road" or any of that. I've always just been me and said what I thought. If you think that's immaturity that's your issue, not my own.

Hee! Loved this chapter. You characterization of Dawn in this fic is perfect...if a bit frightening, lol. I'm absolutely loving this fic and I definitely understand all the earlier controversy that arose from it...you're an incredible writer and I'm simply in awe of all the emotions you've managed to pack into this fic. You've fleshed all the characters out just as well or better than they were in the show, and I care about all of them--even Warren, in that I care that he dies painfully ;) The reviews are going to stop for tonight since i have to drag my butt to bed and then to Illinois tomorrow...but when I get back, I'm finishing what you have so far of this fic and stalking you for updates if it's not finished. (and I mean that in a non-creepy way, honestly) Thanks for giving all of us such an incredibly moving story! *hugs*

Yay for the wisdom of Spike...this chapter as left me feeling oddly giddy. Because they're happy--or at least getting there. Whee!

I loved the ending. I'd wondered if you were going to bring Slayer's blood into it...and I'm very glad that you didn't have Buffy coerce Spike into taking her blood. Seems like they'd both learning.

Hm...well, I can't say I'm terribly surprised. God knows he deserves some vengeace...but against who, I wonder? Does Anya think he wants revenge against Buffy? Warren, of course, seems the most obvious answer...which is why I think it's something else, lol.

I loved this chapter. So much emotion, finally out in the open...and I'm glad Dawn's being mature about it. I love hor you're portraying both Buffy and Spike and how you're slowly but surely building things back up...though of course I suppose there's every chance they'll implode again. But from here it looks like the healing process is starting.

Thank God Buffy came. I know this is only the beginning, and that the after will be worse than the during as far as abuse goes, but Buffy was absolutely perfectly written in this chapter, and all I can really feel is utter relief.
