Hmmmm.

I guess the crazy loon isn't as crazy as we thought.

I wonder what Drusilla is up to?
Just as long as Hank and Joyce finally know the truth and Spike and Buffy get together? I do care what happens to Drusilla though. I feel a little sorry for her, because of her past.

The story is great.

I know it sounds bizarre that this has been my favorite chapter so far, but it just signifies to me-- Buffy's whole exam-- the end of the badness and the beginning of healing. It was like that last thing she had to go through in this ordeal, so that the next steps are all about healing and moving on.

Oh, loved this chapter, although it was quite an emotional rollercoaster. I loved the way Joyce leaned on Anya, how much she opened to her and then thanked her for being there for Buffy.



Then the part with Dru and the flashback to her childhood, I'm feeling so sorry for her now. I really hope they can help her, I know what she did was unforgivable, but after reading this, I think she deserves to be helped.



I loved Buffy and Joyce's reunion, it was so sweet, Precisely what Buffy needed. Thank God Joyce finally realized how much damage she had inflicted to her daughter. I imagine that it won't be pretty when she faces Dru over her lie.



Can't wait for more!

Nice chapter, I like this story a lot. I hope that there will be a few more chapters before you round it all up, I feel that the loose ends are being tied up now. I do hope that Dru gets some treatment and not just gets kicked to the curb, she seems very hurt and in need of care.

Yeah :)! First step for the truth to be revealed! Buffy said that she left Dawn with Dru this night and she is believed... And of course relieved ;)... But when Joyce says "Why didn't you say?" to Buffy, she should remember something: who said "Stop it" to her daughter when she tried to explain she didn't let her little sister alone? Hmm? Sorry, but can't help myself... And I can't wait the next step with Hank! Dru becomes harder and harder to hate. I wonder what will become this family... Anya is great :). Mental kick ass to Joyce, the hard way can pay, it seems. So, another night, sleepless for me... Great job :)!

This is a very, very good story--and everything with Buffy was so believeable and fit together so well--I lov eit. Plus, Spike is just great in this fic...wondering about Drusilla though...great update :)

Loved the talk Anya had with Joyce. She'll (Anya) be supportive for Joyce too. And at last Buffy and Joyce will start over. Well Dru had a hard youth .. (very hard) but she should think what she did to Buffy (but I don't think she'll do it). Loved the chapter! :)

Since you have provided the insight into WHY Dru is like she is...I definately feel bad for her. She is so damaged, and needs help. I hope that everyone realizes that there is something deeper there before they rip into her.
The conversation between Buffy and Joyce actually made me tear up! There is nothing like having "Mommy" at the worst times..

Also the glimpses of the future that Spike and Buffy are talking about. Very romantic..

i agree with your assessment of what Dru's feeling. i really hate to think what would happen to her when everyone finds out. mostly when all of buffy's friends find out. like faith. poor dru indeed. please keep it up.
