Good that Buffy didn't forget to lock the door ;-) Poor Spike, having a nightmare again. No wonder after what he went through. Good that Buffy can understand him; having felt similar because of killing Angel. Very moving chapter :)

Wow!!! This chapter blew me away.
It was a powerful exploration of the feelings of pain and guilt that have been haunting both Buffy and Spike about their first loves. You handled it with so much skill that I felt like I was eavesdropping on a deeply personal moment. Great job!
I can't wait to see what you have planned next.

Well..In the last two chapters, Buffy and Spike's relationship has been completely redefined. The waters are still murkey..but things are definately different.
How it effects all the other relationships in this story will be the interesting thing to watch for.

Loved this chapter..After so much angst..finally some tenderness and understanding. It was a much needed breath of fresh air.
Looking forward to the next update!

Uh-huh.. Buffy likes bondage games :) Well I think it depends on a special vamp *gg* And Buffy is right: Giving that situation here telling her friends that Spike is her lover will get both in big trouble. No one here trust Spike. ~ Hot :)

Wonder if Giles is lying or just not telling the whole truth. But he seems to be human. Glad Buffy stopped him trying to stake Spike. Mmmm I fear some of Spike's fears about Willow and magic may come true. She looked at him in a certain way .. she has something in mind.

Oh.. you were quick with the updates! *hurries to catch up* Hehe.. too late to explain to Willow ~ Dawn was too quick :) Mmm Buffy has naughty thoughts ;-) But at last she convinced her friends not to kill Spike. And the surprise was Giles! I didn't think of him, I thought it would be Angel. I hope it's not Giles working with Faith.. thought it had to be a vampire, one that killed Joyce too. But him she would have invited, no doubt. Is it dark enough already for a vamp? But Spike has not problem in the daylight to travel were he wants. Yet Buffy would sense if Giles was a vamp *to the next chapter*
