Uh-huh.. if Spike hadn't been so cozy with Faith Buffy would have believed him more that he hated Faith. And Willow and Xander hate Spike so much.. Seems impossible that they will be friends in the future: at this point at last.

Ahh..first common ground is..the pain of losing loved ones..and the guilt of losing Angel and Dru.

My apologies for not submitting a review before. I have been catching up with this story over the past few days, and I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying it.

Although this Buffy is a little scary, I can't really blame her. And you have managed to make Spike a sympathetic character in a very difficult situation. I can't imagine where you are going with this, but I know I am going to enjoy the process. Keep up the good work!

Spike really doesn't have any friends among the scoobies and they didn't even bring up his recent attempt at Willow's life. He really has a lot to learn if he wants to have allies. Even his promise to Buffy to leave Sunnydale after Angelus was gone was broken when he came right back with Drusilla. Not exactly inspiring trust.

I don't think I like this Buffy much. 'Course, I didn't like Buffy through much of the show. Hopefully, she'll grow.

Spike really should have known better than to attack Willow. Especially after seeing how Buffy goes to avenge her loved ones. Now it's just that much harder to convince Buffy and the others that he is not on Faith's side, At least not completely.

Dark vengful Buffy...very good version.. I would NOT want to be the person in Spike shoes. There is really nothing he can say to completely excuse himself to them.
I'm anxious to see how this is going to play out for Spike..I don't have a clue. *which is a good thing* : D

I love how tough you wrote Buffy in this chapter..She sounds down right scary.
With everything that has happened..how in the world is Spike gonna' get out of this one.? Even if Buffy was inclined to let him go if he could help her somhow..would Willow and Xander accept that?

Yay! Buffy is better then you, Faith ;-) With all the 'shadows' and 'lurking' seems as if Faith talked to Angel. We'll see about that. Uh-huh... Buffy caught Spike. Wonder if he will tell her about the phone call he overheard.

finally! buffy and spike together again, how sweet! just kidding. anyway, i can't wait to read more of your story! i am dying to know what happens with the spaith and the spuffy. i can't wait until faith gets her ass handed to her, there is a reason why buffy hasn't been killed yet, and she really needs to find out why. i am also dying to know who was on the other end of the phone line, although i have my suspicions.UPDATE SOON?
