Faith has Angel/Angelus working for her! Not up to full strength yet, lurking and stalking...it definitely fits. He has no love for Spike, and both Buffy and Spike would recognize him.

Yeah the sex thing with Faith sucked..but I see what you were getting at..This is where Buffy is going to start worming her way into Spike's thoughts/heart. So glad we are getting to that ..cause' I can't stand Faith in this story and she has her paws all over Spike! grrr

I was just needing Buffy to kick a little Faith ass..and I have to tell you, that more than made up for the wait. That was a fantastic fight scene!

It doesn't seem as if Buffy has to wait long for Faith to come after her. And Faith isn't telling the name... well, at the end we'll know it ;-)

Good piece you're putting together here with lots of interesting threads to it. Finding the trials Xander and Willow (and Dawnie) have gone through fascinating in how it's shaped/changed them, and in how it influences their current interactions with Buffy. Buffy's story is a bit more of a known quantity for us (following BtVS canon as it does) though what impact it might have on Willow and Xander's perception of her will be interesting to find out. Faith (as always) is an enthralling character (the broken ones always are aren't they?) and then there's Spike...maybe he and Buffy can find a connection through their shared experiences of loss. If they can survive each other, and Faith, long enough to actually share that information. Or maybe playing both ends against the middle is going to get Spike squashed like a hedgehog on a highway! Gosh I can't wait to find out.

Man..Spike REALLY hates Faith..

I know it may to early in the story to let Buffy to "beat" Faith..but God I hope you let Buffy put the smack down on her! At least enough to really worry Faith.
