I love all of Xander's, Anya's, Aaron's and Mara's comments on Riley 'learning his lesson'. They made me chuckle.
And what a note to leave the chapter on. Wonder what's next? Great update.

So now Riley is terrified, huh? He didn't care when he threatened Spike. But Spike did give him a lesson. Oh... Spike had his tongue ripped out by Riley's men? Riley never thought how he hurt the others and now he is begging for mercy ~ Looking forward to the next part!

Well Spike didn't try to hurt Riley much (yet) but Buffy's declaration of love did it; this was torture for Riley too :) Looking forward t what will happen next.
