Well, thank you for explaining why Buffy can't free Spike - that would be tne next logicl step for her to take.

I still think Tara is being a little heavy handed, although it did bother me to hear Buffy take about "taking" spike in the last chapter.

I agree with Tara on one thing, though. It hurts to see Spike so broken. I want him to get stronger, and Buffy to help him do it.

Mostly though, I just want another chapter, greedy girl that I am.

Loved they way the chapter went. Buffy is now more careful not to hurt Spike. She is on the right way; now they can start to heal together. :)

Good chapter. I will be glad when Spike gets his strength back and becomes more of himself.

I think that was a good start, but she does have a lot to make up for. Hope Spike gets better soon. ; )

Tara was wrong, somewhat; and let's not forget that she tried to control Willow in the show. I'm sorry if that pisses off some people but that's how I feel.

Anyway, this isn't about Tara/Willow, etc. it's about Spike and Buffy.

Spike never felt dominated, did he? I mean really, by Buffy?
He wanted her; she wanted him. Sometimes it takes weird circumstances to reveal this.

Buffy could have picked any handsome vampire male to be her love slave. She wanted Spike immediately.

Great story so far! I've got to side with Tara on this chapter! Buffy has been wrong in how she's treated him. Sure, she's been nicer than most slave-owners may be, but she is still a slave-owner, and treats him like one.

Tara said some true words... yet she doesn't know everything about Buffy and Spike or their past. Or Spike's love for Buffy. Yet things will have to change in the future... Slavery? Not right... for the slaves. Looking forward to the next part.

Great chapter, great writing. I am glad Tara told Buffy off. Maybe Buffy will examine her actions toward Spike. Maybe she will think more about her ownership of Spike.

hope this is not going to be another tara/spike lovefest.....you don't get back to normal overnight after being trapped in an abusive relationship that's destroyed your self-esteem for the last several years....and she never was very brutal with spike in this story,and as far as canon goes,slayers have a built -in animosity towards vampires that's working against them as well. Why is tara always the hero and buffy the thoughtless bully and spike the victim needing tara's help?
