Seems as if Giles did see more then Buffy in said time. He knew more about the things Riley wanted or he simply feared it would happen. I hope Tara can help a bit. ~ But it looks bad for Spike now. Till next chapter!

I think I reviewed this chapter on BSV, but heck it's so good, I'll leave another one :P *lol*

I was so glad to find an update up so soon, since I read this story the first time just yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised. And now I have to try and wait until you post another chap...how am I going to do that? *lol* I'm worried about Spike, really, that eviiil creature called Riley...there's no telling what he'll do. The only thing I can be sure of is that you won't kill Spike, since it's spuffy and all (you won't do that, will you?) *bites nails*

I can understand that Buffy thinks her husband is away on a trip, but I didnīt like the way she so cruelly left Spike, even thoug there isnīt very much difference in her behaviour from the Buffy in the show,: with the thought of Spike being souless and couldnīt feel anything... And know Spike has been left alone in the house like a little child with an abussive father. Heīs at the mercy of a monster, but he can not deffend himself. It so frustrating... !!And I donīt like Buffy very much. I mean, she dusted a vampire because she was with Riley, and then the next thing she does is have sex with Spike. Doesnīt she think that Riley can take that as an excuse and say: You dusted one of mines, so now I dust one of yours... and we are even? I really hope she gets better this buffy... And please... give Spike something so he can deffend himself, please!!!!

I'm so glad that Buffy has her friends back and that they weren't at all mean. And I hope that Tara can get out of Buffy what is really bothering her, so that she can get Spike back, and beat Riley to a pulp. Amazing story. Please update again soon.

Oh Man Buffy gone all day and night! Poor Spike - I'll be glad to see Buffy stake Velvet - really hate her - I hope Spike can pull from his days with Angelus to unlive through this! Oh Great twist about Giles - And I can't wait to see if Riley is doing something to Buffy to take her strength away - Go Tara!

Oh dear God, let Buffy get home, fast!

I just hate Spike being abused like this.

The first thing I want Buffy to do is dust Velvet, what a bitch!
Then, turn Spike loose on Riley (after Spike's de-chipped of course!).
This story is really good, sad, but good.

Thank you for finally telling us what Giles is up to. Exactly what I thought he'd be doing. That kind of behavior would thoroughly disgust him.

Poor Spike. Geez, I keep saying that over and over. A whip soaked in holy water - truly viscious.

I'd love to know how Angel's team has fared in this world.

I hate Buffy being selfcendered and so stupid. She didn't even check to make sure that Riley was going to be gone for the day. Just once I wish she could say Listen I don't feel that way - I like you and desire you but its nothing more than that but of course that would spoil the AU.

Author's Response: i agree and wish she would treat our guy better...but then she would be out of character at this point in the story, wouldn't she? :- As for Rile being gone, i'm going to make it more clear in the next chapter that she did think he was going to be gone.... Ouch! Please tell me that Buffy will come to her senses, soon!

The *only* good thing about her behavior is that if Riley had seen Buffy respond to Spike, he would be a dead vamp in the next chapter. Still might be, I guess.

But, Buffy will have to go a long way to make this up to Spike. And to herself. Not her best day.

That's bad.. Velvet again, this time eavesdropping. AND running to Riley. ~ That's bad. Buffy is acting uncaring again, hurting Spike (with her words, not his hands) and then Riley will stay back and torture Spike. I don't know if he can do more than Buffy did before. But he still can kill him. And is on his way to do so. What remains? I can think only of Buffy coming back because she forgot something.. but I don't think this will happen. I can't say I like the way Buffy is acting here. *sigh*

I am sorry but buffy is a bitch. I think slavery is immoral. Buffy is a free thinking woman who I assume read a book about slavery. I know that she is suffering in her marriage but give me a break to just think that this is right. It should just take a moment of thought to realize that this is wrong. I am not impressed by the character's thoughts about should I shouldn't I when she always does. I hope the slaves revolt and scare the hell out of her and Riley. I do not want Spike to fall at her feet either she needs to suffer. I like the writing but these people are crazy.
