Good that they are finally talking. Although, it's more of Spike talking and Buffy answering. As usual. Way to keep rather true to the characters. One acts and the other responds- not the first time we've seen that. But, as far as actions go, it's good to see that Spike is finally acting.

Does it really matter if Spike slept with Harmony or not ??Obviously he was intending to or Harmony would not have been there to begin with ,and most likely would have if Buffy had not seen them . In my view that's cheating weather the deed was done or not.The excuse that he was lonely was pathetic and had me rolling my eye's . Typical male reasoning . I think Buffy would be cazy to take Spike back so soon . He obviously has some major trust issues to sort thu before he can be in a trusting realationship with Buffy and his daughter .

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad Spike came to his senses! Now all he has to do is A LOT of groveling! I still want them together though, even though Spike was REALLY stupid! Great chapter! Just found this story and read it all the way through. I have an opinion on this last few chapters that will probably be in the minority and no one really cares, but I thought I would voice it anyways. First off, even if Spike didn't have sex with Harmony yet, that was his sole reason for having her around. The only reason he hadn't shagged her already would be because Buffy caught him. Now, Buffy being the shy, inexperienced girl here - I can't help but think she isn't going to care if the actual deed got done yet or not - that is what Spike was going to do until he got caught by her. I would think her personality wouldn''t being able to handle Spike shagging another woman for whatever reason after he has been with her. I would think this would hurt her deeply: the fact that if she hadn't shown up when she did by chance, Spike would have slept with another woman. I would think it would take her sometime to forgive him. (I have a friend who was in a similar situation and considered her boyfriend to have cheated on her even though there wasn't any sex yet. They still fight about it) Anyways, I'm enjoying the story and will continue reading it just to see Buffy's reaction and hope that she gives Spike hell because he sure deserves it.

Well, i'm assuming he slept with Harmony otherwise he would have told Buffy that nothing happened. I can't believe that he would be mean enough to let Buffy think something happened if it didn't, so I'm officially disgusted with him. Even if he didn't sleep with her yet and decided to let Buffy squirm by not telling her right away that nothing happened, the only reason he didn't sleep with Harmony was because Buffy caught him first. So really from a trust standpoint, that's as good as sleeping with her. What is upsetting about this is that he didn't care to hear any explanation from Buffy before looking for some booty.. Buffy didn't break up with him; in fact, she told him that it wasn't what he thought and he didn't care. He was going to have sex with someone to get back at her or feel better about himself. He obviously doesn't know how to be in a loving relationship. I really hope that Buffy doesn't take him back until he can work out his problems. It doesn't bode well for a relationship. It's just you did such a good job with Buffy getting help with her issues, and I hope that Spike's problems aren't just glossed over as "being a guy". He needs help too. Liking the story a lot (probably should have wrote that first!)

Bullshit - Spike saying that Harmony was just someone he needed around because he was lonely. He thinks she is annoying, so he doesn't have her around for stimulating conversation. He invited her along to have sex with her. Period. Even if they hadn't yet before Buffy caught them, the fact that he was going to use her for sex to make himself feel better without even giving Buffy a chance to explain disgusts me. Buffy is a virginal girl in love for the first time. Spike uses women to make himself feel better. If this was real life, I would say this behavior is a deal-breaker and Buffy shouldn't take him back. However, since this is fiction, I'll just hope she gives him hell and doesn't fall for any of his "I was lonely and just needed someone around" crap. She shouldn't forgive him right away - I'm hoping to see her be strong and not let him just pooh-pooh his almost sexual encounter with Harmony. (I know, a lot of wishing for someone who is not the author) LOL

Yeah, the lines of comminication have begun. Hopefully Spike will allow Buffy to vent her disappointment in this whole misunderstanding.

So Spike on the drive over must have cleared his head and considered what kind of woman Buffy is in order to accept that she is carrying his child. Better that he make his mistakes in private about quick conclusions than to ring a bell that cannot be unrung.

Once the talking starts, I hope that they bury the past events and start planning for a future. They are going to bring a beautiful child in the world and don't call Joyce Grandma! Just kidding. Joyce would'nt mind at all.

Good chapter with the swooning and the groveling and hopefully some smoochies will be on the horizon for these two.
