I'd say that the first "date" was a smashing success.

Spike seems so much a man of the world and then there is Buffy who seems like such a homebody. It will be interesting to see how they affect one another..
Great update..looking forward to more : D

your story is great!! awesome!! and i feel so identified with the situation...and becos of that, i want to give my humble input ...so IMO i think that shyness is shown more than told... but buffy verbalizes a lot of her shyness and that's not coherent if you know what i mean? sorry if this bothers you, but it's just my opinion...and i wanted to let you know.. thanx for writing this wonderful story!!!

The resemblance between Buffy and myself is uncanny. Have you seen me out talking to guys? LOL I feel for her I REALLY do. And I feel for Spike on the upward battle lol

Author's Response: I put a lot of myself in Buffy's character as well. i'm not such a hero when it comes to guys. I'm glad you can relate :)

Well, look at Giles playing matchmaker! I like it! I thought the chapter was great. I really like seeing both Spike's and Buffy's perspective of the events. I'm very excited for the surprise meeting at the gallery!. Keep up the good work! :)
