Hey! I'm just reading this for the first time, and so far I like the plot. However I just gotta mention that sometimes you mispell and the grammar got wonky, and I noticed that you have a beta, but the mistakes are still there.
Otherwise, I like the fic. Continue on...!!

God, men are stupid!
I took my 14 year old over to see my mom today. My mom is over 80.
It's funny you know what? My mom and me were talking about men, in general and you know what my mom said?
"God, men are fools so much of the time!"
It's not that they all are, we get that. My dad was a good guy, very smart and respectful to women.
My husband is pretty darn good and he tries so damned hard to be good.
But, in general, men, especially young ones can get careless with their motives and hurt women, terribly.
Sigh, I wish there was a way to make Spike and Buffy mature, quickly enough for each other. Can they? I'm not sure, but I hope they can.
Sweet chapter and I hope Spike does the right thing.

Author's Response: It's a fact... men are definitely stupid :) I know what you mean, some guys are such sweethearts but most guys are people you need to stay away from.
Buffy and Spike are mature, but they're both just very insecure.
