Oh please this chapter just sucked donkey balls IMO. I mean come on the chance to get famous and you up and quit? Something that you worked hard for for your whole life, yeah I can see the future when Spike is drudging a 9-5 gig and thinking about what could have been and becoming a resentful middle aged man. Not only that but to make it big with a band would most certanly mean economic security for his whole family, I would say that if he really cared about his family he would go on the tour. There are a lot of musicians out there that can balance the whole tour thing with family.

I'm sorry but it's just too sappy for me and I don't buy it for a second.

Author's Response: I'm sorry you feel that way... oh wait, no I don't. I know a lot of people who gave their carreer up to take care of their family. And you have to keep in mind that Spike has been at it for almost 10 years with promises they would become famous, but they haven't yet. And why would you ever stay with a band that you don't get along with? Staying with someone for a year, day in day out, that you hate? Can't really imagine that. I wouldn't buy THAT for a second. Spike lost his family once, he isn't going to do that again. - Spikegirl

ooo..... i fukin hate the xander character in this story... but don't get me wrong... i love love love the story and i love the fact that its not all fluff with them... and i no some people...(yes i said people, we all no girls are cruel like xander too, if not more so)... do act like that and its wrong in my eyes, but i guess thats b/c i think of myself as forgiving. well enough of my pitter patter, keep updating... it really is great

I was so happy and relieved in the last chapter that Spike didn't let Buffy down :)!

He understands why she had to do this, and sees how strong she is. Yes, she is a fighter ;)! Better: for him, no matter the past, she stays the girl he fell in love.

Xander. Asshole n° 1. Do you know what is an "asshole n° 1"? An asshole n° 2 who has worked a lot... He definitely doesn't have Buffy's strongness, or Spike's wisdom.

And he DARES to condemn Buffy! Easier than to look himself in a mirror and see his own failures, no doubt.

I hope that soon, everybody will see the perfect little moron he is. That Anya will let him down. He wanted so much to be alone. Fulfill his wish!

Spike is making me very very happy..I love the way he is thinking about Buffy...He seems to truly care about her..Does he love her? His and Emma's relationship is very sweet too..

Zander needs to be killed off. Sorry..but if he isn't willing to admit how wrong he was..and is even trying to keep Spike and Buffy apart..Well..I hope he meets some grisley demise in the plot of this story! hehe (I can say that because he is just a character in a story! ) lol Thanks for the great update!

i really don't like xander in this fic. he's so heartless. his mother died and his sister had to reosort to extreme measures to survive. he's a poop head. anyway, loved the chapter. post soon.

I started read this story on a different site and there was no update for the longest time and then there was this huge change of the site and anyways, what I'm saying is that I love this story and that I am so glad that I was anle to find it here and read. so keep writing and update soon. :)

So Spike was pissed off because Buffy slept with other man in the past, for money. I wonder if he was an angel? I bet he slept with other girls too, even if it wasn't for money. ~ Good that everything seems to work out now :)

Author's Response: I didn't want to make it such a big thing you know, I wanted to show that Spike can be forgiving- even has to be forgiven because he wasn't a part of her life and that she's allowed to make mistakes also, even though this was a way for her to survive. Just getting caught up here with the last two chapters..So ....Buffy came clean..and it looks like Spike is able to understand why she did the things she has done. Still wants her!
