Jump to conclusions much? Nobody in that business gives two shakes if someone has a child out of wedlock, as long as they didn't cheat on someone to do it. She's made this thing into way more of a deal than it really is.

Oh, Cody is fun *gg* (Spike catching flies). The way Buffy reacted to Parker I thought this was connected to Cody. Buffy had not an easy start with him / being pregnant but she and Cody managed well. And now Spike knows the secret too. Maybe he can convince Buffy to stop hiding and get to know them better.

Buffy's desperation to keep Cody a secret is understanable if she's trying to protect Cody. Her story makes Spike's punch even more satisfying. Buffy sharing her secret should bring her and Spike closer, if she'll just start thinking better of him. Thanks for continuing this entertaining story.

Great update-- I've really missed this story, Wattie. Thanks for the chapter that was truly worth the wait. Selfishly, though, I would love to see more of this scene play out soon. Maybe Spike could even tell her his feelings (holds breath, crosses fingers, and begs pretty please with sugar on top)!

At this point, so what? She's delusional if she thinks it will ruin her career right now. I mean, how many stars are having babies and never getting married? And Parker wil never put two and two together, because he doesn't care.

I hope Spike can convince her that it's time to stop hiding. She's only hurting herself and her family.

Wow. That's intense. Poor Buffy, what a thing to have to keep secret. Cody sure is cute, though--they'll bond over him, right? and Spike can explain that he doesn't want anyone but her, and together they can kick Parker's butt...right? excellent chapter, I'm so glad you updated--can't wait for the next one!!!
