Okay, realllllllllly not liking Anya right now. But Willow did say that Anya felt more than she let on about Spike... I just don't think she had to the right to say those things to Buffy. Especially when she refused to leave. Buffy's house, Buffy's rules. I hope there's some brutal bad-mouthing to Anya in the future. That or a SERIOUSLY good apoplogy from the girl.

Spuffy lovin' at its sweetest! I've a soft spot for the time before they know about each others' feelings. It's such a great time for cute moments... like paint fights while white-washin' the ol' pickets... and freudian slips and unspoken lusty thoughts.... you know... the good stuff :)

This is utterly lovely from start to finish. You write with such sensitivity and sweetness yet without being saccharine - your portrayal of Buffy's grief process and how it affects how she deals with her feelings for Spke feel very real and honest. Beautiful, beautiful work.

Let me also say, I'm not usually a fan of all-human AU fiction...but stories as gorgeous as this could definitely change my mind! Write on!
