*sniff* *sniff* ......NO for real..I started crying! ....If anyone has ever lost someone really truly important this chapter will affect them. Wow..

Knowing that there will be Spuffy eventually..I almost feel bad for Anya.. I know I am probley jumping the gun before you spin your tale..but Anya is such a great friend to Buffy and she seems to really care about Spike..So I'm curious how this is going to play out..

Oh no! and Oh yes! Always loved Doyle...it was the eyes that did it for me too, so I'm always stoked to see a story that includes him (although only briefly for obvious reasons). Do you suppose Buffy's going to hate herself for potentially causing Doyle to be (fatally) distracted at the exact moment he needed his wits about him? Looking forward to this new journey.

Good first chapter. I feel so badly for Buffy overhearing that terrible moment and I have always loved Doyle. Good to see him in a fic if only for a short time. By the by, I'm the lucky recipient of a transplanted heart. I'm ten years out from transplant but my memories of that time are crystal clear. If you want to pick my brain I can probably clue you into some of the quirks and challenges of adjusting to and living with a transplant. If you don't that's OK too. I've read a few fics and novels that have dealt with this and it's always fun to see what they get right and what is out in left field. I'll be looking forward to see how you handle it.-Nerf Herder

From the summary I can tell this is going to be a very interesting story... I heard when a heart or any organ is donated to another person who needs it, the person will feel the other's "essence" or something like that.

... although the thought of Anya doing Spike makes me blanch. *LOL*

okay, interesting start. i honestly can't see buffy and doyle together, that's just a little weird to me. i admit at first i didn't really want to read this because of the fact of them being with different people. i hate reading anything that involves buffy with someone else and spike with someone else, but i'm going to give it a chance. i just hope the spike/anya won't be anything gross because i couldn't even watch that on the show without seriously cringing.
