First off, I think I'm having a flashback to the 80's. There's this Arizona REd Devil mascot running around on my TV.
Nevermind.....anyway, probably right about the divorce.
I'm just thinking that they will really have a hey day with the news that Buffy is getting back together with her ex-husband?
Maybe not. Maybe they'll all just yawn and start running after Britney and Kevin again, tee hee.
Really, have you readers been watching the news?
Which leads me to ask this: Does the Hollywood news from LA make it to the regular news elsewhere?
I've always wondered.
I live about 25 minutes, if that, from Hollywood, etc. I never see stars, etc.
Okay, that's not true.
I was on the back of a Harley on PCH in Malibu and pulled up to a stop next to SMG driving a beat up Porshe.
I saw Amber Benson meandering around on the Santa Monica Pier with a gorgeous guy.
Remember James Garner? My friends and I raced him through Westwood one day years ago, in his car.
I think, but I could be wrong, that duh Arnold and his crew pulled up next to me and my crew (my daugters and myself) on the 405 freeway, in his Humvee.
What I"m getting at is this: How important is this stuff? To the real world I mean?

(Oh yeah, years ago Prince Andrew toured my work place). You've never seen a bunch of women make bigger jackasses out of themselves!
I guess we all like to live vicariously through stars, etc.
Sigh, just hope William can handle it!

hell the divorce isn't the news worthy at the moment......for the her being married for 8 years living wth another man for 5 and then picutured with her now husband that no one knows they are divoricing.....LOL.....NOW that would've made even the papers in Iraq......and I'm only writing this for the giggles not flaming...for I so agree to a aurhors right to do what ever makes their story work........and since Wil is doing Wes's work and letting him get the pay, is Wes doing the same for William so he take a vacation? I wonder who will be the one to up and move.......more please........so they are going a week without really talking so how are they getting to know each other?.....Seems the media is making more attempts to know William then Buffy......ROTFLAMO, on that pun.......if we where in a room you'd hear the joking teasing in my voice........

The bit about divorce being public record....not necessarily going to attract attention if people aren't looking for it. The name Elizabeth versus Buffy would be something unexpected and if no one knew Buffy was married (press or fans), then it would likely go unnoticed. So, not really a "realism" issue at all.

Oh, and the airport in Boston is Boston Logan International Airport, or Logan for short :-)

Awww...shucks beasleysmom........Thanks for thinking of us on Valentine's Day...I love the second posting! ~Happy Valentine's Day~ again...lol

I am really glad that Buffy put her family first. It shows Buffys maturity..and despite his disappointment.. *before his plan* William can respect Buffy for making that decision.
What I'm hoping for....*keeping my fingers crossed* You'll let William will get a chance to see Buffy caring for her nephews, and realize that despite her career, she would make a wonderful Mother. That could only be good..

Anyway, looking forward to what you decide to do next !

Oooo, don't know if that's such a good idea, Spuffette. Don't you think the tabloids would then question what the heck she's been doing with Lindsey for 5 years? They'd drag her through the mud over this and not care about having the whole story. I have a feeling that may happen anyway. I have to agree with Kimber that the I'm suprised the tabloids haven't been informed of Willia yet. Oh, well, we'll see what happens. :)

I liked several things about this chapter..

First, the conversation between Giles and William was touching. I love the fact that Giles feels protective over his grown son..and they seem to have a great relationship. The whole conversation left me feeling warm after reading it.

Then the conversation between Lindsey and Buffy was what I was waiting for..The night of the break up when he had dinner with Buffy for me, felt like he left still in a bit of denial. It was a great good-bye from Buffy though. This conversation read more like a closure for Lindsey. I am glad to see that. Even though I got irritated with him at times, I always felt bad for him.

Nice chapter...and I REALLY appreciate the double posting today!! You go girl : D

Man, the tabloids are really off....they should've known who Wiliam was the day Harmony blew the whistle on Buffy being married.........marriage certificates are a matter of public record.....and Harmony has Buffy's married name.......hmmmm.....Who I'm feeling sorry for now is Kennedy.....for how is she going to handle never being told who Buffy was........and now about to find out the hard way......unless Giles is able to hide all the mags from her until someone is able to tell her what is going on.......So William is wiling to do what it takes to get Buffy back.....I wonder what Buffy is willing to do........

I like the way William is settling down here, however...
I am going to give a little unsolicited advice to our Spuffy duo (no, I have not completely lost my mind LOL!)

I think they should stop the divorce proceedings. Why? Well, for one thing, it's really not necessary, since they'll probably end up together anyway and...
let's be honest here. How excited would trash mags get over someone smoochin' up their own husband or wife?
See what I mean...the really nasty stuff would stop if eveyone found out Will and Buff are married to each other.
Right now, this looks like an affair, which, it is, in a way, but if they were still legally married???
Yesterdays news...
Just a thought.
Loved the last 2 chapters.
