Pleasantly suprised that they didn't run screaming from each other the next morning. : ) Very realistic though. There are things that are going to have to be worked out...and they both are going to have to compromise. Right? You have set the right mood though..Everything feels very tentative..and it's almost like you can't trust that they are going to be together..

Sorry to hear about your computer..I hate when the PC craps out. Happened to me last year, and I thought I was going to go crazy! Luckily, I'm the one in my house who does the set up. I kept the husband and kids away for a whole three days before they caught on that everything was a go ; D

And soon, he should come out for a day or two so she can show him how she works. He's clueless to that kind of life, so she is going to have to do a lot of demonstrating. Call him on her lunch breaks for 5 minutes, just to show that she's trying.

How could William not have known 'who' Blue was? That it was Buffy?

I'm having trouble with the idea that a divorce will be some kind of magic bullet that will put them on a bright, shiny, new path with each other. I know this is fiction but in real life It's not realistic for a couple to just draw a line in the sand and say this is where we start over, ignore their emotional baggage and not have it sneak up and bite them in the ass down the road. Their dynamic really hasn't changed. It's a disfunctional relationship imho and instead of placing such importance on the legal status of their union I'd advise them,
to paraphrase the bard, Get thee to a Marriage Counciler. Pronto! Otherwise a happy spuffy ending isn't going to make sense or ring true. At least not for me. -Nerf Herder

One other thing......you can't forget the past, when they had a arugment she left town and had a 5 year affair without a blink in the eye and still feels no real guilt for it, not really. He left her be for 8 years and never once tried to find her. She's the one that came back then getting all wigged out that Spike might have been in a relationship. He has given in to her way to easy, about the house and now this. Starting over needs to include working out what happened in the past so the future doesn't repeat itself. They are not on equal playing field either.....and I can't wait for Spike to realize Lindsey if going to be still VERY much a part of Buff's life.....and no starting over will or should make him accept that......I think if any thing THEY both need to learn compromise...and we still have many chapter to see how all this plays out. .....

I mean this in a totally platonic and admirable way...I LOVE YOU FOR WRITING THAT CHAPTER :)

Uh-huh... not only halfway through? Well that can't go well then (or it would be over soon). ;-) Yes, even the begin of the chapter here was a bit bumpy. Buffy almost went out of the door for good. Wow.. a real roller coaster of feelings. So on to the divorce now. I wasn't thinking so wrong back then. And I cross my fingers for them. When they have to fight getting real life done.. that is when it turns out they'll make it or they won't make it. it won't be easy. I hope they will make it! But they haven't really talked about what happened. ~ Loved the chapter, you don't have to ask. :)

Awesome hon! :) But I personally don't like Buffy's line about hurting each other very much. I mean she left him and she hurt him the most. I really hope she will actually apologize at some point!
