You do a very good job keeping this story as real as possible, your right, when emotions are at there peak people act and react in strange ways...no one is immune to that. So in that aspect, I am totally in love with this story and I will be with you till the end.

Because I can understand her actions and maybe even sympathize with her, doesen't mean I am happy with Buffy at the moment. She realy does have some growing up to do emotionally, because while both Will and Buffy were at fault for their seperation, William is the only one who for the past 8 years held what happened between him and Buffy as sacred and he couldn't even bring himself to sleep with Dru for his own comfort. Plus, he is the one finlly admitting that they, or he, needs to move and is doing the steps to doing that.

Buffy on the other hand, while admitting she still loves him, is willing to become involved in a committed relationship with another man and then use said man to make herself feel better...in a situation that she herself has created. (Not the seperation itself, but the phone call earlier and the hyporcriticalness {is that even a word?} of her actions after that) She's hurting too, but she has yet to show the maturity or even the courtesy to try and rectify anything with Will.

So in this aspect, I can't wait to see what happend next!

They're both wrecks, and I'm actually feeling sorry for Lindsey even though he caught Buffy in a weak moment. Spike and Buffy are both screwing up spectacularly, something needs to give. I'm looking forward to whatever that is.

I'm sorry but to me she keeps spitting on their marriage. Be honest folks how can you trust someone who has been for the most part cheating for 5 years and even now when she say she loves him did it again. Where as Spike was going to do it but because of his love didn't.. I know they Spike mad some mistakes in this too .. some big ones. But what buffy did and is doing is a little much. She truly loves the man she stop sleeping with lindsey and go try to talk to spike. All this spike needs to do this and that naww. She the one that needs to be doing somethings.

I'm disappointed in Buffy, of course, but I was young and stupid once. (Okay, opposed to old and stupid now!!!)
Anyway, I'm not happy with William, but not for the reasons you might think.
I guess we expect Will/Spike to be the stoic, unshakeable rock that we want him to be. He's human, but as long as he doesn't sleep with Drusilla? I'm pleased....sorry.

Anyway, again, I'm more unhappy with William because he doesn't fight for what he wants. Does that make sense. Buffy's always been strong, physically, and emotionally, usually. But she could break like a little child under some circumstances.

What do I want? WEll, I want Lindsey to take the high road and just leave Buffy alone. Be a man and suck it up, she doesn't love you and never will.

I want Buffy to think more of herself then some fractured child who runs to 'daddy's' arms everytime she's unhappy or hurt.

I want William to grow some and storm to New York to 'claim' his wife before.....oh, excuse me, I forgot I wasn't writing this story. (hehehehe)
You are doing such a lovely job, even with the angst and yes I think you wrote Buffy just like she was, when she's hurting.

Are you familiar with the movie 'Jezebel' starring Bette Davis and Hendry Fonda. The main character (Diana?) was spoiled, selfish brat who destroyed everything and everyone around her that she loved or who loved her.

I think the line that summed up the Bette's character best was said by an old, classic actress who played her 'aunt?' in the movie.

It went something like this: "When she's lovin' someone (Diana) she hurts others so bad it nearly kills me. But that's the point; when she's hurting that much? That's when I know she's loving the most"

Pretty screwed up, huh? But unfortunately, quite humanly realistic.

Well, sometimes you have to fall to the bottom so you can crawl your way back..........I just hope she signs the papers for this marriage means and is nothing to save........if they do start over it needs to be a totally clean slate.......for his truth for 8 years it was nothing but a piece of paper......and whoever is looking over them is really good, since she's not been raked over by the press........

To be honest, Buffy has SO much to atone for, more so then William......Some one needs to leave her, so she can know what it really feels like. Maybe Lindsey could find someone and she finds him with her....give her a taste of her own selfish medicine. She left to save her dream, well right now she has a nightmare of her own making.....5 years ago she should have divorced her husband before she started seeing/living with another man. She has no real right to call him HER HUSBAND, legally yes, morally no. I was almost worried Will was going to work on taking her back. It's too soon, she needs to figure out if she's ready to be anyones WIFE period and what it is SHE truely wants. It seems Buffy is used to getting things how she wants it, it's time she learns how to play with others and stop being the brat in the playground. I wonder who will make Buffy take a VERY long and HARD look at herself in the mirror one day, for she sure and hell needs too. Yes, they both made mistakes, Buffy's are the ones that put the distance and time on their marriage by acting single......I have one question, where is the media freaks that would've had this on every tabloid, Entertainment weekly, and so forth. Wiliam would be household name by now. Harmony had seen to that by blabbing to the ones with the more powerful pen at the interview......the blogs would be lighting fire with the what did he do to her......how could she leave him......she's married and living with another man.......or has someone been able to keep this out of the news.......hmmmmmm.

Buffy has no real right to be angry, jealous maybe, but the kind of anger she is displaying seems like she feels betrayed, and she has no leg to stand on in that department. He has explained to her what happened, although he really didn't have to, he didn't want to be a hypocrite, but she seems to be fine with being one herself. She wants to twist his words around and still be an angry spoiled child...Will was right on the mark when he said "what buffy wants get". She wants to do this on her terms and she wants to play the victim role...hopefully she WAKES THE FUCK UP SOON!!!

I wonder if now she'll turn to Lindsay, cause he has shown that he is willing to do things her way and on her terms...plus this argument with Will may make her think that Lindsay is right for her, and if she does go this route, then it;s her loss, cause if your not willing to fight for something, you never deserved it in the first place.

I don't want you to think this is a flame post, I actually like the story and the way it's going and I can't wait for more. Keep up the good work.
