You guys are awesome for getting these chapters out to us so quickly..

On to this last chapter.. I just don't get Buffy's extreme anger...So what if a woman answered William's phone..I understand the jealousy, even welcome it...but not to that degree. *sigh* May I suggest a therapist for these two..to learn how to communicate..??

I love this story! I just ask one thing. Why is he explaining himself to her? She's been with another man for 5 years, she left him, he owes her nothing. Please oh please do not have him chasing after her. Too many stories have him chasing her.

Bitch! Geez, he tries, actually TRIES, and she still says it means nothing, even when she doesn't MEAN it. Every time she has a chance to have a civil meaningful conversation with him, she just has to act like a spoiled child again. Grrrrrr!!!!!!

Yeah, having nothing to do with each other, for a long time, is really best here.

love the story...in my mind he should not have to explain who or what Dru is to him or why she answered his phone...why is she so angry and upset...i think she wants hold on to some self rightous anger to keep from admitting to her self that she made a mistake in walking away from her marriage and William...what about what she has been doing for the last 5 years with doofus...and she is not even in love with him..and definitly not happy if she thinks of her husband everyday...i get the impression that she thought when she was ready to go back home and be a wife that he would just except her back with open arms....but she just got a dose of reality..but this is just my thoughts..i could be wrong..once again great story..N

Mmmmh-hmmm so Buffy avoided to speak to Giles... only because Dru answered the phone. *sigh* At last she should have given him a chance to explain. Xander made it clear too I think: Buffy can't have both, not Lindsey and William together. Well maybe her unconsciousness has decided whom she wants (because she is calling William her husband, very possessively). And yeah, much angst in this chapter here.

I have to say that although this is a very good chapter and I'm enjoying the story immensely, I find it a tad hypocritical of Buffy to act like this. Even if William had had something to do with Dru, I don't think he owes any explanations to the woman that left him and then cheated on him with another man for 5 years. Anyway, I can't wait to find out where you'll be taking us with this story.

Well hon, I must say that Buffy is just soo ful of herself, sorry. I mean who freaks out in such a way about a woman answering the phone in her "husband's" home, who she has left 8 years ago. I also could have been just a friend. And the way she snapped at Will, sorry but she so has to work on it.
Of course, your writing is great as ever. But Buffy is way too full of herself at the moment for me.
Hope she will change her attitude at least a little bit.

I just don't see why he has to explain anything she mad cause she assume he slept with dru. She was with another mand for 5 years. I know if I was spike I would have said something about that. Sorry she has no place to be mad at him at least on that front. But a good chapter as always keep up the good work

As always, wonderful. Well, can't say much that isn't obvious. Someone does need to tell these kids that life is short and to stop dickin' around. Say what you have to say Buffy, consequences and emotions be damned. Good Lord. What is the worst that can happen? I really want to smack her today. You are really not giving her any redeeming qualities. Early on in the fic I wasn't seeing any blatant unsavory traits coming from her and I was so hoping that you would write her future actions with a bit of grace and maturity (after all, 8 freakin' years have passed). This just goes to show that age does not equal wisdom. Silly girl. I loathe to admit that unless this girl straightens up, Will shouldn't give her the time of day. She just doesn't seem (in this chapter) like someone that Spike could love.

Interesting turn that Buffy is jealous. Looks like she can relate firsthand now to how William must've felt when he find out about Lindsey. Joyce was a bright spot in the chapter. I liked her talk with Buffy. Great update.
