I get the feeling that William/Spike has been 'there' before (Drusilla I mean). However, I also get the feeling that it was sexual and nothing else?

Maybe Drusilla is more a professional at this and Spike is a customer?

I ask because I think the moving on thing in his mind is due to the fact that Buffy has been in a relationship with Lindsey. It isn't just sex to her, like this Dru thing probably has been for years.

I still feel that Spike is being somewhat of a hypocrite and that there are 2 sides to this.

Spike loves Buffy; Buffy loves Spike but that road is never smooth, is it?

Nice chapter, but I am disappointed about Drusilla. Only because I don't like her and don't want Spike with her, ever.

I have a quesiton..I think some of us read that chapter differently. OK..Here it is..

Has Spike been with Dru before? It kinda makes a difference in the whole storyline. That way I read that phone call.. well, to me it sounded like they had been together before. Maybe sexual partners?

See, I get the feeling that William is more upset with the idea that Buffy has someone special in her life..(not that he's not upset that they are having sex too) But you know..it looked like she has a "I love You" relationship..Like he has been replaced..

Any clarification on this would be great...Or perhaps you'll tell us in your next chapter, which is fine too. ; )

Author's Response: OKay just to let you all know, Will has not gone outside of his marraige since he and Buffy have seperated. I will explain who Dru is to him in the next chap so that might clear up some questions as well. Seeing that y'all are so anxious to see what happens next I might be able to post the next chap alte tonight before I go to bed. Kuddos!

Soo..It seems that William hasn't been Mr. celibate for the last 8 years..And who the heck can blame him, NOT I !!
No more than anyone could blame Buffy...She has never given her heart to Lindsey, and never led him on to think that she had..Sounds like they just picked someone so that they wouldn't be lonely.

I'm still seeing two sides to this..and I just don't see this whole thing being only Buffy's fault.

Sounds to me like the some things were said on Williams part that sent Buffy running. Was that the right thing to do on her part? HELL NO! She should have stuck around and worked things out..and by leaving things like she did, she has been unfair to herself and all the people involved. No Doubt.. but people make mistakes..and William made a mistake that caused Buffy to make a bigger mistake..and now here they are...

I just hope that soon there somehow will be some Spuffyness going on. LOL I hate reading Spike/Dru..and I really hate reading Buffy/Lindsey..Hopefully soon, Buffy will start facing the situation head on and take steps to put things right..FIRST BY BREAKING THINGS OFF WITH LINDSEY..I think I feel it coming. (I hope)

I understand that William is hurt. Buffy is cheating on him so he want to pay her back. I can understand it; though I don't have to like it (which I do... I don't like the way he chooses now. He is so hurt. Buffy is hurt too yet she made her bed she has to lay in it. She did go. Now she has to bare the consequences if she likes it or not. Looking forward to the next part on Monday.

This story is wonderful. I'm glad you aren't letting Spike leave without seeing Buffy one more time.

Raspy, I have nothing to rub your nose in to.....we both have difference of opinion that nether is wrong ro right, just our different perception of things that comes from looking at the situation from different eyes and experiences.......and what I really observed in this chapter is how much Buffy has yet to grow up in a way and is about to do it with having to now face the consequences of her decisions. There is yet the public she will have to face, and deal with the gossip hounds making a hayday of her, Lindsey, and Wililam's life now.. (specuation I know, but hell it does seem the natural way to go) Once the dirt is found, all aspects of the hard work you've done goes out the window. I also feel sorry for the band, for they will feel the brunt of the repercussions. Who is running their PR? .

Also she has to realize just because they are family doesn't mean they have to side with you, yes love you....but not side with you......and that Wiliam's family did way too mch protecting him from the truth about Buffy's other life. William is so heartbroken now because they set him up by lying to him by omission.......where it seemed he might have been living with the dream she might come back to him once she found herself be it she failed or not.......only to have reality knock him back into the real world......between fate, family and themselves they have a long road to travel to find true closure........

I just read all of this story and must say I'm enjoying it immensely. The premise of them marrying so young makes Buffy's decision to follow her dream more plausible. She may regret it now, but who knows what was going through her head at 19 or 20. I'm really liking Rupert , Joyce and Angel. I laughed at the bickering between Angel and Buffy.

Having the unhappy couple meet up at their old house should generate some great conversation. I'm looking forward to it.
