I liked the conversation between Joyce and William. Joyce certainly has an interesting perspective of things. Can't what to find out how the concert goes. Great chapter!

Im also glad you're back and look forward to your story. But I have to say that how SAD is it that you post a warning that there is some Spike/other in the beginning of the story and if some readers are so fragile as to be traumatized by that horrible fact they shouldnt read the story. I understand why you did it, but the fact that some readers are so infantile that they are horrified by such a possibility makes me ashamed of fanfiction fandom. Seriously. I understand warnings for sensitive content like violence, graphic sex, rape, etc but just another pairing rising to that warning level is infantile and in my opinion not to be honored or taken seriously at all. Anyway, I needed to get that off my chest, because I've seen it elsewhere too and it just really boils me. You, beasleysmom, however, I like and do look forward to this story. Please don't hold anything back in writing it - it's your story, and let the reader beware - anything you choose to write or to go is up to you, plot wise. :-)

Author's Response: Thank you so much sweetie! The reason for the warning is because I have read way too many flames about Buffy/Other Spike/Other pairings and them saying that if they would have known before hand they would have never read so I am just watching my own back on this one. I totally plan on letting this fic go as palnned and if some people don't want to read because they can't handle Buffy or Spike being with someone else for plot purposes then they can just miss out on all the yummy Spuffy in the end, LOL! Ick.. Lindsey again.. (well I don't like the /other pairing no matter who *gg*) So she is together with him after 3 years when Spike left. I wonder why she never wanted a divorce. They are together 5 years? Wonder if there is a reason (not to divorce) or if she simply doesn't count being married to Spike for so urgent. And she paid a high price indeed.

I like the start (and I'm late reading it). If the B/other gets to worse for me I let you know ;-)

I can tell that this is going to be one of the greatest fics I have ever read. Except I wonder what is going to happen when Spike and Buffy come face to face! :)

Hmmmm, I guess she never thought she could be discovered in England and still work on her music. I mean some of the best music greats came from England, and where discovered there.....silly girl. She did throw the towel in a bit early........and to be in a 5 year relationship, Lindsey is one dense creature if he needs a map drawn to tell him the truth about Buffy. She's using him to feel something, and she's using her trumped up marriage to protect her from committing further. I rather hope Lindsey finds someone more deserving of his love, LOL. and she has to do some begging to get Will back.......I wonder how much he will want her back knowing she's in a five year relationship with another man while still married to him. But then again I wonder how true to his vows he has been.

Why is it I have a bad feeling about all of this?
