Well another great chapter, I am glad that Spike came clean about Aimee, and that Buffy can accept it and get past it....something like that isn't easy. I feel Aimee has some interesting times ahead. Your writing shows so much emotion, that one can feel it. I always look forward to more and thanks.
PS Sorry I didn't leave a note from the last chapter, I was so anxious to read it then had to run, loved that too. I will be better

Author's Response: I think Buffy accepts it and understands that she should get past it, but that doesn't mean that the shadow of the past won't affect her. Even if Aimée is going to begin suffering a bit, she will still create a lot of trouble for Buffy and Spike and well, mostly everyone around.

YAY!! Buffy and Spike have another person that wants to see them together and happy. Both Maria and Tegua are strong "behind the scenes" people that cn be huge advantage to their situation. I LOVE how Tegua told Aimee that she had to be nice to her sister for her "treatment" to work. hehehe

I'm sad for Buffy that Spike is leaving for another 3 months! That is a pretty long time to be seperated..though I understand that for that period of time, it was commonplace to be seperated like that. Thanks for another great update : D

So Aimée and William...? Little Aimée is fast. And yet, it's almost funny to see her reaction about some consequences about the lost of her virginity she hadn't expected! She was SO sure to know all she needed to know about The thing: "Thank God she’d paid attention when her friends in Boston talked about all those things or she’d be as abysmally ignorant as Elizabeth surely was". Well, it seems she didn't pay enough attention. Hum. When she made The thing with William, didn't she notice that "something" happened? Or did she believe it would be like that each time? But I presume too far. The mysterious Tegua... So the curandera is Xander's mother? The world is so little ;)! It seems she knows a lot of things about William's real filiation. And she sees Little Aimée as the real person she is. Clever woman :)! A precious ally indeed. Say your Muse "Thanks" for me :)!

Author's Response: Hee, yeah, she's a tad fast. And it's very fun to write her reaction to everything that's starting to happen to her. I think she wasn't really thinking, she liked William and wanted him to be her first, she just forgot of the little fact that she was supposed to be a virgin when she married. ...Yep, Tegua is Xander's mother, and she knows quite a bit about everything that's happened in Galveston and Campo Real. Good to know that Aimee cannot easily fool or bribe Tegua. Seems that maybe Tegua may have known William's mother and holds no love for Darla or women like her (Aimee). Did she deliver William? For her to consider him as a son, it leads me to believe that she has some ties to his mom and birth dad.

Buffy accepting Spike's marriage proposal really does make for smoochies between them. I wonder if Buffy will insist on Spike meeting her mother and asking for her approval. Don't give Joyce an axe to threaten Spike with for sneaking inside her home though because knowing Joyce, she'll whack first and ask questions later. The front door should be used by Spike if he wants to make a good impression with his future mother-in-law.

Your story really does make one imagine all sorts of different scenario's. Your story and I will wait biting my fingernails for the next chapter. Good story!

Buffy and William reunion is so sweet :)! I just love William's declaration, about what he wants in his future wife. God, I' m jealous ;)! Buffy, well, meeting William is the best thing she could ever expect in her life: love is therapeutic. It cures mummy dearest Joyce's brainwashing! And I especially like the fact you show us a Buffy who is not all sweet and naive. She is an angel, yes, but a woman too. I'm intrigued with Little Aimée's reactions at the end of this chapter, about her fear that Angel could see she's not ever a virgin at their wedding night... Has Aimée already tasted the forbidden fruit, before meeting William (I read again the last chapters, and apart few kisses, William, to her dissatisfaction no doubt ;)! was a perfect gentleman)? Or does she envisage her future, makes plans? I mean, she has made it clear that she wants to sleep with William before marrying Angel. But the way she acts, it seems she has already done "the wild thing"... Or it seems that she is very very (too) sure of the power of her charms on William. Well, let's admit it, William is right: "Aimée who was in a class all by herself" ;)! Little Aimée who needs to grow up!

I'm sorry I confused you with the whole glossing over Aimée and William's relationship, but yes, they had sex and he was Aimée's first. I think it was on chapter 14 or so. Oh...Please don't hold your muse back when it calls for fluffy Spuffy! That's why I am so hooked on these darn fanfics : D I must say though, this story in particular has me quite hooked! We really need the fluff here to even out some of the less than stellar characters..It's like Spike and Buffy are this oasis in this great big mess that surrounds them.

I can't help but to be a bit worried about Aimee's reaction to Spike and Buffy..and what underhanded things she may have planned. I only hope that Spike and Buffy can withstand her and everything else together..*at least without one of them being hurt to much!* Fantastic chapter!!
