Wonderful update. I like this Buffy. She immediately said yes. They're so perfect for each other. Truly love each other. Now will they go tell Joyce right away. I somehow thought back then one had to ask permission from the girl's parents. I'll be glad when his last trip is over, and we can move on to him getting Giles name, the weddings, and the coming up trials and tribulations and happiness to come. Glad the muse is taking vitamins. Perhaps she could start an exercize routine to speed up things. Keep up the great work.

I'm glad that Spike reasured Buffy of the sincerity of his feelings, even if he didn't know she was slightly doubting it, which makes it all the better.
So William has one last trip and then he becomes a Giles. Can't wait till everyone finds out about their engangement/marriage. Can't help but wonder how Joyce is going to react.
I'm beyond delighted that Aimée's sweating it a bit, maybe she'll learn to think before she acts, but then again that would be hoping for too much, lol. It makes me feel bad for Angel that he has two manipulative women in his life... I wouldn't want to be him, lol.

So glad Buffy's not responding to Aimée's taunts, can't wait for her reaction when she finds out Spike wants to marry Buffy, and has completely forgotten about her :D
I gotta say again, I really like Angel in this story, and I'm kind of hoping he doesn't go through with his marriage to Aimée, so far, I think, he deserves someone who really wants to be with him for him, not just for his money or social standing.
I'm glad you and your muse have finally reached an agreement and I can't wait for the next chapter.
That cliffy is so painfully good, it's killing me, lol.

I liked the way Buffy handled herself with Aimee. I'm so glad she followed her instincts and didn't mention Spike's proposal. Fun scene between Spike and Xander. Can't wait till the next update... Fantastic chapter!

Better and better :)! I like the way you depict their awakening to... reality ;)! They feel, yes, but not only. Hormones + brain, so to say... In the last chapter (I have to admit I read it again... and again), William became (at last!) reasonable "How could he ever think that he could settle for less than what this girl made him feel". And Elizabeth is on the way of salvation (Bye bye convent!). And when she lets William removes her veil and coif: very symbolic ;)! Angel is far, very far from salvation. Nearer to Aimée, further from salvation. But I have to admit he has guts: "So let them talk" as he says. Darla, shell-shocked Darla: the beginning of the end for Lady De Alcazar? Sweet justice ;)!

Buffy is finally not taking Aimee's taunts and throwing some of her own. Hooray for Spike's influence! I really love how she told Aimee that she no longer wanted to join the convent now that Angel was marrying her. So, so loved it. Darla and Aimee butting heads together is going to be sweet. Bout time they both got back some of what they've been dishing out. Good reading and leaving the chapter where you did was just wrong! LOL!

i just read your story for the first time and i am absolutely in love with it! i love the relationships between the characters, although i hope aimee gets something thrown back in her face, and i can't wait to read what happens with the spuffy once spike returns! this is alike the romance novel of a life time!!! please update soon!!!!

That was so nice...*sigh* A nice fluffy, Spuffy chapter to keep us happy. LOL! I am oddly proud of Buffy's character..I was afraid that she would be to timid or up- tight to be receptive to Spike..but I am so glad that I was wrong about that.

Amof...Buffy is ready to accept Spike exactly like he is..as a pirate and smuggler. The first thing running through her mind was not how she could change him..or even asking herself if he was acceptable to be with! Yay Buffy! I know the plot is getting ready to pick back up..and I am so looking forward to watching everything unfold. Some certain people are going to have some serious reality checks..(eventually) Thanks for another wonderful update : D

Yeah, you know I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it, but while I was writing it I felt that she's not as judgemental (is that a word?), she's experiencing real feelings for a man for the first time and she really doesn't care what he is, as long as her heart feels he's good deep down. ... Hee, yeah, many reality checks coming up soon. ;)
