Ohhh I loved this chapter!!! I cant wait for Buffy to tell Spike she is breaking up with Riley when they get back... I wonder how Riley will take it hmmm.... Oh and Im nervous about this dinner with her dad! If something happens and her dad is mean to her or something and she calls Spike and he comes and 'recues' her... that would be romantic ahah! i feared things could be awkward between them but it's nice to see them getting along. i like the blinding passion but from buffy and spike i do want something more! and with her distress over her meeeting with the "best father of the year" winner, she totally needs support... and spike's good at being there for her. and i'm happy she understood that he is better for her than riley... hope she explaint it to spike soon so he'll understand her behaviour (riley's nice enough in this fic... he doesn't deserve it and buffy knows it... she has learnt from experience how painful it could be)

Loved the race, it was so well written. You really caught the excitment of the event..I love the fact that Buffy cleaned house, and recieved all those ribbons...she needed something to help her with confidence.
BTW...I really am enjoying the transformation of Spike. He seemed to be a insensitive jerk at first, but now he is Mr. Super protector.. Looking forward to the next chapter!.
