I really hope that Spike starts putting two and two together soon. Buffy thinks that he will just get angry with Dru and leave..But I believe that he would not turn his back on Dawn and Buffy. For one thing..he is a doctor..and it would be morally and ethically wrong not to do report and or interfere in some way..More importantly, Spike is being pulled in against his will emotionally. He is feeling an attraction that is hard to ignore to Buffy, and Dawn is worming her way to his heart too. Arg...I just want Dru to go DOWN!

brillaitn chapter. I love the whole Dawn wanting to be treated like an 8 year old with Spike. It's so cute - their bonding is so perfect. He hasn't figured it out yet? Can't wait to read more. Need to read more. lol.

Great chapter. I was afraid Spike was going to come in on Buffy hurting herself. Is he going to confront Drusilla the next morning? I hope not because that means he could go away and then Dawn and Buffy are left unprotected.

If you see the reactions of the sisters towards Dru (Buffy proteting her face when she thought it would have been Dru) tells everything. Thank god Spike noticeses it too. Now I understand Buffy's panic: He'd left her and her sister to the mercy of his girlfriend. And Dru is hitting them again, Buffy taking the blows. *sigh* My heart hurts for Buffy... Good chapter!

brillian chapter. This you should how bad Dru really is. We (the readers) have always had a sense but wev'e never really seen (read) her actually hit them and Buffy actually cut herself. Brilliant chapter. Can't wait to read mroe. Need to read more!

Just getting caught up from the last two chapters..

I think that whenever it happens..Spike finding EVERYTHING out that is...I think that it should be with Spike walking in on Dru doing something like what happened in this chapter. Her hitting Buffy. I would love to see Spike rip Drusilla up ( verbal of course) Shaking because he wants to hit her so badly...and Spike jumping into action, using his connections to help Buffy and Dawn OUT OF THIS SITUATION!

Maybe a little jail time for Drusilla as well.. I don't know how you are going to play this out....but I am chomping at the bit to see somthing good happen for Buffy.. : )

Man I had so hoped that after Dru hit Buffy when she inteded to hit Dawn that Spike would have just walked through and been standing there watching. Grr...I've never hated Dru so much. You've really got me hooked into this story already. Great Job. I can tell that Buffy is already kind of starting to rely on Spike being around for safety and I really like that. Keep up the great work and update soon!

Brilliant update. i hope spike hurrys back soon and finds out whats been going on. Its so realistic how Buffy's so protective over Dawn, despite all the physical and emotional pain it causes herself.

I read your other story.. I don't mind if the stories are longer. It depends on your muse. If the muse is not willing it makes to sense to write long stories. I think I'm repeating myself.. but Buffy is lucky she has such a protective friend in Willow. And Willow told Spike a lot. Yet not much about Dru is handling Buffy. I wonder if that's the part or a part of what Spike thinks is missing in the story Willow told him. ~ Looking forward to the next chapter.. and to hear how long the story will be.

I'm so happy you have updated :)! I've missed this story! But you are generous with these 2 last chapters.Time is up for truth! Slowly, but surely. Spike has understood there is "something" about the Summers family, but even if he has seen some aspects of Dru he didn't expected, he seems a little "blind" about her. Curious. Sorry to be crude here, but has sex always this effect? Well, I'm too mean. Spike is too implicated with Dru. And he couldn't know she's an awful sister (and human being?) until seeing her behaviour with her sisters. Willow didn't say all the truth about the new clone of one of Cinderella's sister, but all she didn't say talks (screams!). And Faith, she's not in the place, she's only told the way Buffy acts by his brother , but she sees perfectly that she's afraid. Spikey, you ask yourself the wrong question: it's not "What", but "Whom" she's afraid of... To answer your question about the lenght of this fic, I would say 10 chapters is a good idea, but it's because I'm impatient to see how it will end ;)! So, it's not a good reason. Let's make a compromise... 15 chapters? But you're the boss, and I'm sure your decision will be the best :)!
