So Buffy let the day flew by.. doing nothing and everything. She didn't want to acknowledge what would happen at the end of the day it seems to me. And yet.. it didn't go smooth, letting Spike go when he tried to attack her. I didn't say after all in the chapter that he would thank Buffy, but he did. ~ Looking forward to the next part!

Glad to see some both literal and figurative movement on Spike's part...like I said last time undying gratitude from him would be completely OOC (i.e. unrealistic) but at least he's not biting the hand that has literally been feeding him anymore. Now, as he gets ready to leave the slayer's home and return to Angelus & Drusilla, here's hoping he will recall the adage 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. Oh and I hope Buffy remembers exactly who she's dealing with too...this is not 'stands-under-her-tree-making-cow-eyes-at-her-window' Spike. More like 'would-drain-you-drier-than-the-Sahara-given-half-a-chance' Spike, lol! More soon please.

It's good too see these two can be civil. Spike is helping too; he lets Buffy help him now. ~ And now Spike is ready to go; he can walk and Joyce is coming soon. I wonder how he'll remember that time: Will he still try to kill Buffy? And when he's feeding, will Buffy be able to kill him? Looking forward to find out :)

Yay! An update. I really have no idea what you are going to do with the story. Well I slightly do but for as to how it is going to happen - I'm stumped. And usually I can figure out the plot lines and such of stories. Great chapter. I' really liked it. Can't wait to read more.

Grrrr...arrrrgh! Good on Buffy for the whole 'give him a nod of silent respect at what the word cost him' bit but seriously - Spike better stop looking a gift-buffy in the mouth if he knows what's good for him ~sighs in exasperation at the blonde pest though realises that undying grattitude would be TOTALLY out of character and spoil the entire piece's feeling of realism~ LOL. So Buffy noticed that Spike's legs hurt (because they are healing) and tried to help and massaged them. Yet Spike is too proud to say something about. *sigh* He is so stubborn. Yet he pays for it: his legs are still hurting.
