Great story!! Love that you've still got Spike not having lovey feelings for Buffy---same for her---but def. having them respect each other. Nice twist there with Buffy caring for him, too, due to her compassion for people. I love the pacing as well because a possible pairing with them won't seem forced. Anyway, def. loving the story and can't wait till you update again.

Ah.. Xander isn't telling what he should.
And Spike decided to help Buffy. Yet Dru doesn't like it...
(I love the scene when Buffy stops the sword with her hands "Me.")
Buffy has won and yet lost. Good to see Spike stayed to see what happened but now both are gone... one the run.
Wonder what will happen now.

For the best? Leaving them unprotected by the Slayer, on a Hellmouth, is for the best? What a coward....yeah, she could do the dirty deeds, but never face the consequences...Like Giles wouldn't have taken her in, after her mother kicked her out....

Yaaaay another update! I'm a real fan of this story and will follow it however long it takes you to create an instalment. That said, I can't wait to see what treatment you'll give 'Becoming' parts 1 & 2. I wonder if Spike will still be all with the 'well I've got my girl now so good luck slayer...gotta run' and if so, whether he'll still be all 'it's your fault she doesn't love me anymore and reckons I taste like ashes' by the time we make it to when 'Lovers Walk' in season 3. Can't wait to find out. More please.
