Excellent chapter. I really love this Buffy. Comforting and reassuring, and God how strong she is. I can't even imagine being in the situation that she is in. More please.

Another great chapter. :-) Thanks so much and i'm glad that he's smartening up. I just wonder how long until he and Buffy realize that the other one likes them as they like the other (if that makes sense!). I wonder what will happen when she goes back home, too.

You know what, something just struck me:

Sam 'is' jealous of Buffy, isn't she? She's jealous because she knows it's Buffy Spike really loves, right.
It's been there, all the time and that's why Spike screws up and any woman he can. He can't have Buffy and he knows it.
Is Sam savvy enough to know that once Spike and Buffy really get together.....Spike will straighten up and then Sam won't have his guilt to kick around any more?

Just a ponderance on spufette's part!

I love this story, but I'm not sure it can end up Spuffy romance. Sigh.....

Ooooh, smart Willow. So glad she's not letting Buffy be denial girl.

I wouldn't say Spike's broken. Bruised, wounded, unsteady in light of all he's realized - yeah, but not broken.

As far as things with Sam go, that's why they have custody mediators. Someone who keeps a level head while the parents argue about who gets how much time with the kid, and also talks to the kid in question to find out what THEY want out of all that. Sam and Spike need somebody neutral to cut through all the bull and remind them what's best, what's optimal, for Alicia.

Ahhh..Good ole' Willow. Buffy needs to hear that voice of reason right now, because Buffy cannot let Spike down right now. She needs to stay put and help him!

I'm a little conflicted on the idea of Buffy talking to Sam..It will be interesting if she does ..

First of all, I've got to say that I have been enjoying those little quotes at the beginning of the chapters. Very nice touch btw. But this one has got to be my favorite. Loved the chapter also. Their reactions when they both woke up were very sweet. I'm glad that Willow and Buffy had their talk and reassured her of her situation. Things seem to be going well for now. Can't wait for more.
