I am flabbergasted by how people can twist the meaning of a FICTIONAL story!

Brat..I do not know you personally, but you are one of my favorite Fanfic. authors...PLEASE do not let this kind of crap get you down, or scare you away from your creative abilities. This is a FANTASTIC story..please just go where your muse takes you! ; )

I never knew James was a closet pedophile and a dead beat dad. How dare he be attracted to young attractive women instead of the geriatric.

This whole fic screams of Spike bashing which is fine but to say Spike is based on James is going way too far and in bad taste.

If this isn't the case then a statement should be made where everyone can see it because people are coming up with their own conclusions and things are being said.

I'm a long time Spuffy fan, and I haven't read Spuffy fanfiction in a while. I was alerted to this fic through word of mouth and buy more than one person if you don't want things to spread I think you should do damage control.

Author's Response: Based, inspired, whatever you want to call it. It was an idea and I ran with it. If others wish to look at it as me making a statment about James and his life, then that is their deal, not mine. I'm making a story here, not writing a biography. The story is MINE, the characterizations are MINE. Everyone is inspired in their life to write, draw, sing etc about someone or something. Doesn't mean they write, draw or sing a biography. It's NOT a biography. People are going to make speculations no matter what, can't really help that. Apparently it's still not 'gotten' that this is a STORY, not a BIOGRAPHY.

I'm really enjoying this one, Brat! I'm just getting caught up so I have missed a lot of the drama, but I'm hoping that it won't lessen the enjoyment you get out of writing. I know you bring us a lot of enjoyment so keep up the good work!

LOL....I got a great little laugh out of that line! This was a nice chapter..I can see Spike actually trying to open up a bit. I think the self awarenss is definately kicking in..Let's hope that it sticks around.

Awww, poor Spike. He's really had is world tilted off-kilter lately. I'm glad he's making the genuine effort with Angel. And I'm continuing to like that you're writing Angel as decent and intelligent.

Meanwhile, Buffy's as clueless as ever.
