Wow Spike is such an a-hole. I thought Sam should of apologized though. Weather she meant for her daughter to hear it or not the fact is that she did hear it. Its funny in this story I hate Spike in your other one I hate Buffy. It's like you switched their roles. I'm curious to find out how you get them together in both. Please update soon.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this chapter.

It's defintly a good thing that Spike starts seeing himself as others see him and that his past actions may have, and has hurt the ones he holds dear, specifically Buffy and Alicia.

I actually can't describe what bothers me a bit about this chapter. Maybe it's Sam, while others seem to like her because she doesen't give in to Spike's bs, seems very much the jilted, bitter ex-wife, and she does have reason, but apparently it's leaking to their daughter and I don't think that's right. She says it was an accident, and I believe her, but (that part) is unfair to Spike. What's we've been shown so far concerning Spike and Alicia has been on the most part positive, but it's just that he needs to spend more time with her to connect.

I don't know what just sits wrong with me with this chappie...but I will be awaiting the next one eagarly.



Author's Response: Well, you're not far off at all in regards to Sam. There's a story there that will be revealed, so you're not far off at all in thinking that Sam is not just bitter when it comes to Alicia

Oh..Spike is one of THOSE people. You know the kind that has to see things for themselves for it to sink in. That is one stubborn man! He cuts off his nose to spite himself..as long as he makes his point, be- damded the consequences.. I've known and loved a few people like that in my day. I have a feeling when Spike "comes down" from his tirade, he will not be very happy with his own actions.

Oh this is going very good, love reading it. So now that jerk Spike is going on to be a more enlightened Spike I can't wait to see where this leads :D Keep up the good writing.

Ahh, when did all these chapters go up? I can't believe I missed some. But the last few have been great :D. Keep up the fantastic work.

This is well written and fun. The dialogue is sharp, and the premise is intriguing. I'm looking forward to Spike's reaction to his enforced celibacy while Buffy is in town. He realizes that he needs to keep his promise, but what will it be like physically and emotionally not to be fawned over all the time? I can't wait to find out!
