Oh shit! This is exactly how I felt about my ex husband (my oldest daughter's father's) wife!
She was a doll! She was a good role model, smart and ambitious. The fool (ex) ended up losing her, but oh well, we're still friends (her and me and Tara, my oldest).
My daughter was a bridesmaid in her wedding last summer and I sent a gift. That's how much I admire her.
This so much reminds me of that whole situation that it made me cry.

Great chapter, I wish Spike would wake up and smell the coffee!

Ha, I like Sam already. Hell, I'll kick his ass if he hurts her anymore. I swear, I'll find a way to go into your story and personally kick his ass...lol! Yeah, letting my imagination get away from me again. Okay, I'm back now. I like that we got a little insight into Spike's thoughts. I hope he does a lot more thinking. Alicia is such a cutie, I like that she gets along so well with Buffy. Good chapter=)

("The chapter" you mentioned I assume.) I think Buffy is right with her first solution. Go and live at her aunts. It will take Spike to come to her if he wants her to visit. You're right; he could have asked if he met someone. But it was only a one-nightstand. *sigh* Buffy decided to stay. Well otherwise the fic would be over, huh? I hope she won't get her heart more broken as it is now. I wonder how long Spike can keep his word. Till next time!

Spike got off the hook way to easily....I'm not satisfied at all with his apology....I too feel like she should give the guy on the plane a shot so Spike gets jealous, just love fics when spike is jealous:P

But I love the story and I think it's a great idea, just hope spike do understand that women are worth a lot more than just sex.

Oh, the road to redemption.....and some can be changed....it's all according to the history that we have yet to find out about.....is Spike just a man lost in the charm of being a star......is he broken and in need of repair......and Buffy is the just the right tool......I think before I kick Spike to the curb, I want to find out more about why and let the story unfold and tell me more aobut him.......I really think he might be made to see that he's been using and disrespecting women, but also he's been living a lie, a fantasy because he's got somthing to hide......NOT all cheaters cheat again, most might....but then maybe he thought himself in love with Sam to find out he wasn't.....got caught up in the star life and it's going to take Buffy to pull him back to reality and shake up his world and make him become the man that is buiied deep inside.......I say it's too soon to jump ship......and not give him a chance....go Buffy go, help him see he can love and be loved.........go girl go........if you don't take the chance you could be walking away from the best thing that ever happened to either one of you.......or the worst mistake....but you won't know unless you take that chance........

Its good that he actually meant his lil apology with Buffy, but Buffy was right, he does need a woman who will be hard on him, he's grown far too used to women telling him how wonderful and great he is.

The fact he cheated on his wife is a bit unsettling, only because now that he has done it, and has told Buffy about apparently, it will always be there, lets says about 20 chapters down the line they get together, will she worry about that..I would. I hope you can redeam Spike on that one.

I am very curious to see his daughter, how affected by his behavior is she really?

I'm kinda sorry she forgave him so easily, cause while she is not a girlfriend and shouldn't feel jilted, she was hurt because he totally disregarded her and her feelings. She has a right to feel the way she does. I'm glad Spike knows exactly how she feels about his "whorish" ways, because it is disgusting and he should feel like shit right now.
I dunno, for some reason, that apology really ran shallow for me and I am not sure how much of it he really means.

But regardless, love this story to pieces, I come to find I love all your stories and this is no exception. Keep up the good work and can't wait for more.

My friend married a guy like this..sorry to say they DONT change...cheated on his wife huh?...Poor Buffy I think in this case that Spike maybe is too far gone...I love this fic heaps and you have such great ideas...lets just hope that it doenst prove too hard to make Spike a nice guy:)

You know, it's a funny thing, but sometimes you just have to cut your losses and run.

'Run Buffy, Run!'

Ihate to say this, but Spike's pretty much of a shit right now who has no respect for women. I just hate that. I can take alot of crap from men but not disrespect.

If I were Buffy, I'd pack up, walk off and let Spike explain to Alicia why the only real woman in her little life, or apparently his, left back home.

If Alicia is savvy to her Dad's tricks, then it's not healthy for the child to see Buffy allow Spike to do this to her.

Anyway, I still say 'Buffy, call this guy from the plane; go out for drinks and stay out all night. Let Spike stew. That is if you decide to stay there, which I wouldn't myself.

Anyway, the story is magnificent, but I detest Spike right now. That's okay, I'm sure you'll have him grovelling soon!!!

Poor Buffy. She is in such a hard place. She isn't a "girlfriend" so I can see why she felt "silly" but he did show such a lack of respect for her that it was so hurtful. If he claims that she is his best friend, it shouldn't be that difficult to put a little effort. I would like to see a little of Spike's persective of the whole thing. This story has me in edge!

The fact that Spike cheated on his wife is upsetting, but that's the thing about Spike- what I fell in love with- the fact that he can start out as being something so horrible, and turn into something so wonderful. I have complete and total faith that you will keep the transition realistic, gradual, and totally believable. You're an amazing writer, and don't let people's obviously biased opinions keep you from writing. Trust your intuition. Spike is change- pure and simple. Bad to good.
