Time to pay the pi..per....knew he was heading to Boston to talk to her in person. Spike's not the kind of guy to wait for her to pick up the phone. Wonder how he got in, though...bribed the landlord?

Uh ohhhh, I kinda thought something like that may happen. But hey, kinda puts them on equal ground in the trust department. How he'd get inside her apartment anyway? Did he use his fame to have the super open it, or did he just pick the lock himself, and how'd he know about Riley without knowing the exchange they had. Love that she shot down the arragonat prick, I can't stand Biley - though it does make for great angst. I'm so glad you had Spike fly to Sunnydale, that's AWESOME. Please post soon and let them have the talk they need... I'm drooling here waiting for the make-up sex. Awesome job sweety.

Oh my, and so the shit finally hits the fan.......poor Buffy, but by her actions she is not ready to move in. Rily brought up a good point, as she did herself, it comes down to trust and no matter how you cut the cake she does not trust him.......yes his history before them being committed sucked, but since they've been together he's really given her no reason to doubt him, not really. This is a good thing for their future to get it all out and finally put to rest, if they can survive all that will come down this night/morning., they will have a srong foundation built to start a life together......all her points are valid, but she herself ran from facing her fears that he cheated, that she in turn became the reverse of what Spike had been with him hiding himself with all the women and things he did in the past.

This was a excellet chapter in showing how insecure Buffy is and how much she too has to learn about relationships. in return, it shows how committed Spike is that he came to her. now lets see how she reacts to his jealous anger and if he's patient enough to listen to Buffy logic of why she did what she did.........and she believes him about the accidental hang up........

Great chapter......had me from the beginning to the end.

Hmmm, sounds like Riley knew more then he should, like maybe he's been doing some homework on Buffy's Beau, LOL..........introduce him to Faith and Xander, LOL....

Oh, don't you yell at her. If anyone has an explanations to make, it would be him. I guess that answers my question on if he saw them or not, but apparently didn't hear anything that was said. At least he's there so they can finally talk. You have been torturing me with these last few chapters, girl. I have to know what happens next, so keep the updates coming=)

Oh, sure... it's not enough that this happened but you had to throw Riley in the mix, lol. Great additive for the angst, just hope Spike doesn't show up and see this, but of course when it rains it pours huh? I so hope everything turns out alright in the end. Can't wait for the next chapter, you're cliffies are killing me but at least you post frequently, wish I could do the same w/ my work. Keep up the phenomenal work sweety.

Okay...no despair. I'm choosing to see the light at the end of the tunnel, especially if Spike's "throwing in the towel" means he just can't stand not being able to get in touch with her...and not touching her physically...so he's going to Boston. With Buffy realizing the "spin" of the whole situation...yep, not thinkin' about the fact that Spike could fly in to find her at dinner w/ that butthead....cros-country flights take much longer than that...so with the realistic...no despair. (I know...I think way too much...) Great chapter, BTW.

I hope Spike's "throwing in the towel" was waiting for Buffy to call, and his taking off was himm going to the airport to take off to Boston. He came so far, I don't think he'd change just like that- it'd be too dramatic of a character turn. Grrr.... Boo and praise to you on this evil cliffhanger (boo simply becuase I want to know more, not that I think it's bad!) . Good chapter and a most intriguing adventure is just around the corner- I can feel.

ahhh...!!! What's Spike gonna do? This is what I think...He's going to jump on a plane to Boston..right? Is he going to catch BUffy at dinner with Riley and take it wrong? Hoping not though...Anticipation is gonna' start to get to me! LoL Can't wait to read what happens next!

I certainly hope that Riley doesn't have a Faith connection in LA-- that could only mean more trouble! At least she's trying to be logical and looking at both sides. And your loyal fanfic supporters won't dispair-- we know you want 'em togethre as much as we do!

NOOOOOO!!!!!! WTF!!!!!! i cant believe that buffy and spike cant reach each other, if they only talked about it , this whole situation wouldnt be happening. i love this story and am so happy u updated. i really hope that spike is flying to boston to explain things to buffy and that he dosnt see her with riely and do something he might regret. also i really hope that riley doesnt try anything and taht eveyrhting works out between buffy and spike. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more. aslo sorry i havent read and reviewed sooner, had busy weekend.

Tries to keep faith.. Glad Buffy thought about it logical and notice that it can't be (all the same picture). Yet I fear that Spike is on his way to Buffy. What when he sees Buffy and Riley together? ~ Till next chapter :)
