oh i just love this story. i started reading it last night and couldn't hardly stop to go to bed. this is the best fic i've ever read so far! it's just so different from what everyone else is putting out there. hurry with the updates please.

I was offline almost three days so I'm behind reading. Now I wonder why is story is under "recently updated" but without a new chapter. I saw some reviews that are a bit confusing about you not longer writing this story bad I don't see any A/N from you. Could you maybe edit the last chapter to make it clear what's the matter?

Did you say that your work is there but all wonky? I have, on occasion, fixed suddenly and unaccountably wonky work by doing a complete change of font and margins, that type of thing. I have no idea why the wonkiness occurred in the first place, but I was able to fix it that way. Of course the fix was trial and error so what actually worked is still completely unclear to me. Great help, huh? :-) I hope you are able to recover it. If not, the detailed draft sounds great. Thanks. :-)

So bittersweet...
Talk is good. And Spike even managed to answer one question without talking.
At one point Buffy has to make a leap of faith in the future. Sometimes you'll have to risk something if you want to get something worth.
Loved the update, looking forward to the next part.

Still with you.
Intense chapter. So Gabriel got his will and gave Buffy her gift even if she didn't want to. But I'm glad Buffy stopped herself in time. And not only because I want her back with Spike: If she had uses Gabriel she would have regret it later because it only was because her and Spike, not about Gabriel.
Spike still has a long way to go but when he stays in NY he has a chance to work on that.

wow this is very good ( dont' like Gabriel , no matter how nice he is ) I love angst especially when it's Spike hurting Buffy, but he was really harsh in the beginning, and now i feel sorry for Buffy because she wants to be able to be with him , but trusting him again is something i don't think i would be able to do . can't wait for more and please don't forget "At your Doorstep' now that one has angst.

I don't hate Spike. Yeah, he's been a bastard, but he is turning things around and in doing so he is desperately trying to recapture one of the few good things he once had.

As to the beta thing, I can't in good conscience offer myself as I am no writer and it's a long time since I studied English; however I'm more than happy to re-read stuff and being English I could perhaps help with Britifying Spike! Gabriel knows he is in 'danger' now, now that Spike is back. Therefore the superglue. Good for Spike because Buffy is annoyed now :)
Knowing Buffy has a boyfriend now hurts Spike; but he has no right to because he was with Drusilla. But Buffy doesn't love Gabriel, only trusts him. That's important but not enough.
Spike has to win her trust back but I don't know how.

*snifffs* poor Spikey...and also poor Buffy...poor them! You know, on the one hand I like Gabriel kinda, I mean he's sorta kidna Spike-ish, and somehow I see him in my head as Wood, despite the image you showed. But on the other hand I really hate him, because he's standing between Buffy and Spike! Gahh! Anyway, I Love it!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Yeah, Gabriel's one of the characters that you hate to love (at least, he's that for me), but you like him anyways.
