ah. I have been sucked into another story! lol. yay. Great story - I really love it. And I'm usually not that into All Human Fics. Can't wait to see what happens with Dru and Spike. You done great in characterising them.

Oh no! I love the fact that Buffy stuck it to Angel and figured out that he wasn't worth it in one date. Loved the bad kisser thing. Hate the fact that Spike is still going out with Dru. He's supposed to be falling into Buffy's lap *pout*. I think we may be in for a bumby ride. Great job!

I think a little part of me just died inside....Seriously, though-- I absolutely LOVED the way Buffy dumped Angel, and I ADORED how Spike reacted to it. Now Spike has to know he's missing out on something with Buffy. Or does he now think he can have his cake and eat it, too, since Buffy is no longer dating Angel. Enter Parker (or Riley), stage right? That would be a good foil-- just when Spike thinks he can date Dru and not worry about Buffy. She needs to do something to get the blonde-wonders' attention! Great update, and I can't wait for more!

ugh, why couldn't the date go bad for him, too? unusual means really weird and i don't understand what he could see in her. how much longer am i gonna have to witness spike and dru being together? i hope he dumps the twit soon and we get on with the spuffy, before she finds someone else.

What a great update! I love that Buffy stood up for herself. And I'm glad that the two of them are still being somewhat honest with each other.

They way Buffy handled Angel was awsome! I love that she stood up for herself like that..Though.....I HATE that things are working out for Dru and Spike.. So how long is it going to take for Spike to catch on to what Dru is really like?

Poor Buffy..Hope that there is alot more chances for Spike to get jealous over her even with Angel out of the picture. Looking forward to more : D

I absolutely LOVE this chapter! Oh, jealousy, and the joys of finally getting what you *think* you want. I can't wait for the next installment of -- "Dating isn't as much fun as it sounded." I REALLY loved how Buffy surprised Spike with a kiss before the Bronze, before all of the Angel & Dru badness. And I LOVED how Spike is trying to be a gentleman, despite his hormones. More, and very soon, please!

Author's Response: Thanks for the great review. Yes, I always saw Spike as one of those guys who does actually feel the need for a connection with his partners. I loved the little kiss too. Spike was trying so hard to not kiss her and then she just walks up and plants one of him. hehe. That was fun.

gross, i would have liked a warning for this chapter so i could have avoided it. i can't stand reading about the two of them with anyone else. i think i may only give one more chapter a chance because i can't stand it if the spuffy is going to take that much longer with the two of them going out with those two idiots. i don't understand that, it's obvious that they like each other so it doesn't make sense that they would go out with angel and dru. angel was mean to buffy before the change so i don't know why she would still be interested in him, and drusilla never paid any attention to spike before either. and let's face it, she's just disgusting. i don't know why anyone would find that freak attractive. i really hope this gets better soon.

Hey, No fair..If Angel is a terrible kisser to Buffy, then Dru shouldn't be so great to Spike..RIght?! *sigh* I know...It's Drusilla..Always mesmerizing Spike.. But we know who Spike REALLY wants don't we..even if he hasn't figured it out! lol

good chapter, but i'm VERY frustrated... I hate how Spike is so into Dru.. he seems much more obsessed and lusting after dru this buffy is for angel..good chapter tho.. interested to see where you take it



Author's Response: I know. But Spike was always fascinated by Dru and I wanted to still capture that here. Plus, if they were both into the people they had wanted equally it would have been a bit boring. Want to spice it up a bit. Thanks for the review and I hope you stick with me. : )

Of course an Angel kiss is never as good as a Spike kiss :) I'm so glad she figured that out early on.
