So Shanny knew that David wasn't the father but she doesn't know what / who he is. And after such a long time it must be difficult to find out. ~ Hard indeed for Buffy and Spike be cut out of their daughters life; including the babies (even more, that's right, if Willow was still there). This is such an interesting idea. I thin you're absolutely right; Spike and Buffy probably *would* have raised a very screwed up kid given the circumstances. Very insightful chapter. I wanted to grab poor little (imaginary!) Shanny and give her a hug! You really did suck me into the story here!

Poor Shanny indeed. It wasn't easy for her to grow up with her parents being so special, going from one place to the next. Joyce and Billie are careless, but they are just kids. The thought never crosses Joyce that she wouldn't be able to come back. Shanny was unhappy, but I think she had no clue that her parents were unhappy too to let her go because they thought it would have been the best for her.

Great flashback, very insightful. Buffy and Spike's talk with the twins should be really interesting. I can't wait to learn more about the mysterious painted lady. Great update!

I enjoyed all the info on Joyce's powers and about Willow's place in Shanny's life. Hmmm.... interesting that Billy gives Spike the shivers. I can't wait to learn more about him. Wonderful update!

Wonderful chapter! I liked the flashback to Shanny's birth, especially Spike's interaction with Andrew. No wonder Shanny sent the twins to her parents... Joyce is certainly a handful. Can't wait to read more!

I'm glad you wrote another chapter :) Joyce had seen him, smiled and put him on the top of her slave list for life Hehe typical Spike :) (And had to grin about the style Andrew fought.) That was not an easy life Buffy and Spike lived then. And the children are realy special indeed. And wanting to hear some truth from her Grandparents. Maybe just maybe it'll lead Shanny back to her parents. Looking forward to the next chapter.
