Still kind of reeling over the loss of Dawn but I'm so impressed that Buffy didn't automatically decide to play 'kick the Spike' and/or deny his feelings for Dawn were sincere. Thanks for that briefy but touching moment between them graveside too. More soon please 8-)
Author's Response: Buffy going off on Spike would've been too awful, especially since Spike cared about Dawn, too, and reacted to her death much like Buffy did. I'm happy you liked the graveside conversation - I think that's the first time we really see that they have an unspoken bond of some sort between them in the story. i hope you continue to enjoy the fic!

Oh my.. at last Giles believed Spike. What will Buffy do? ~ So Harmony is dust. But Spike doesn't know that there is someone after him. ~ Seems as if Angelus, Dru and Darla trying to get rid of Tessa. Looking forward to the next part.

Harmony is gone, and Spike definitely doesn't know there's someone else in the game who wants him dusty. I think Harmony put the body on purpose in Spike's crypt. Now he has to stay there with Dawn's dead body the whole day (and no pay-phone /mobile-phone to call Buffy). I just hope Buffy won't think Spike killed her.

Oh yeah, Tessa is cruel to Dawn in this chapter. You give what you get, huh? Same thing was done to her. ~ Well but now Tessa is responsible for getting Dawn killed (Yeah, I know you wrote that you didn't know yet what you would do with her and that she would get killed .. or not.). This will be hard for Buffy when she finds out.
Author's Response: Tessa definitely is not a nice vampire, but then again, 99% of them are vile. Buffy will not take it well, but you'll have to wait and see what happens when people find out.

Author's Response: Hating Tessa is the best choice at this point- she's a horrible vampire. Dawn is dead, though - for purposes of the story, I wanted a character to die, and Dawn seemed to fit the bill the most because she's so similar to Tessa. I hope you will stick with the story despite Dawn's death.

Too bad: Spike found a trace but it's too late, they are gone. He hasn't seen Tessa in a long time as it seems; or he would have recognized the scent. ~ Poor Tessa... I wonder how long it took William to notice what happened to Tessa through Angelus' hands. Or if she told him? We'll see, huh? :)

Author's Response: William definitely didn't make a good call - he was a bit naive at that time in his life. Drusilla and Angelus are awful vamps, and more will be revealed soon about what happens to both of them and Tessa. I hope you continue to enjoy the story!
