So Spike and Buffy know now about Tessa and called Angel. What a surprise he brought Darla with him. Grrr what an idiot! What does he fear? He lies about Tessa (not telling why Tessa might be after Spike). I'm still wondering why Tessa let Joyce go. But at last she's back now.
Author's Response: More or less, Angel is afraid of how both Spike and Buffy would react if they knew the truth about Tessa and her reasoning for going after them, but trust me, they'll find out soon and the consequences won't be pretty. Tessa let Joyce go because she didn't need bait anymore - she'll be facing off with Spike very soon now that he knows she's around and is after him. I hope you continue to enjoy the story!

That's were Tessa is wrong.. Spike will protect Buffy (with all he can). It's just that he wasn't there to fight when Dawn was kidnapped. ~ Oh yeah.. so Drusilla told Tessa what Angelus did but it did cost her her unlive. And Spike knows at last who's after him.

Oh my.. now Giles is accusing Spike *sigh*... When Spike would go to Joyce's jeep he would notice a familiar smell; too bad he's looking for Buffy then. Well at last Buffy did defend Spike. He's innocent anyway of getting Joyce kidnapped. Thanks for the update!

I wonder if there is something with Joyce. Cute... Sike inviting Buffy for ice-cream. ~ Oh yeah.. Angelus and Darla did something to Tessa! ~ Oops.. Tessa got Joyce. I hope she didn't drain her completely. Spike won't like it; neither does Buffy. Well, a lot of insight her: Tessa notice Spike didn't know where she was, Spike remembered Tessa's sent; and Buffy notice Joyce didn't come home.. Looking forward to the next part.

Why am I not surprised that the Scoobies don't believe Spike? Well.. but maybe the Scoobies stumbles over Tessa in doing so. But Buffy believes him. Tessa.. so she wants Spike for herself, hmmm-mmmh. ~ Too bad that Tessa was too young then and believed Angelus. I wonder if she hadn't if things would be different now.
Author's Response: I think things would be different if Tessa hadn't listened to Darla and Angelus. The Scoobies don't believe Spike and won't for a while, but eventually, they'll come to realize he was being honest. I hope you continue to like the fic!

Okay some pity again for Tessa but DAMN - do people never confront each other directly in the Buffyverse? Between Tessa and Spike/Wiliam, Buffy and the Scoobies and even Buffy and Spike the predilection to use subtext instead of the old fashioned approach (e.g.'what are you trying to say?') I just want to slap someone sometimes. The worst thing is though...who would you start with? LOL. Love it when a fic gets me all riled up. More soon please.

Well Buffy didn't talk to Spike either.. really talk I mean. Later then, yes. But only after Spike told her about Harmony and Buffy talked because she wasn't happy. And Spike is wrong but he doesn't know it yet: Tessa is still there. I wonder if Tessa thinks that Spike has betrayed her. But he didn't know what Angelus, Darla and Drusilla planned.
Author's Response: You're very right about Buffy and Spike talking and that Spike was wrong - Tessa is very much so a threat still. You'll have to read on to find out if she feels betrayed and what happens after she realizes she's being taken away. I hope you continue to enjoy the fic!
