Thank God Spike was able to get there in time- and poor Buffy, thinking that he doesn't love her anymore. He loves her more than ever!

Great great GREAT stuff. I love your understanding Spike. It was great that he was able to make Buffy laugh, but not so great that said laughter managed to have such a detrimental effect :[

This story is fantastic- it's angsty but I have this feeling of an underlying hope. I'm so excited to see where your going with this story, these past chapters have been great and very well written- you convey the raging emotions this story has excellently.
Please continue the great work and i am very much looking forward to more!

Knew we were going to have to bring in Spike eventually, but for Joyce to put together that is was simply the Slayer in the driviers seat and that be the rationale behind Spike getting involved... That's pure genious. I love it.

And yet, I have this feeling that Spike won't let her. Her desperation is so powerful. I love this story.
