I enjoyed the sharp dialogue in this. Spike using his search for Riley to worm his way into Buffy's life to stave off boredom was believable. Your references to canon made me laugh several times - Spike's reaction to "The Slayer's Handbook" was priceless. I really enjoyed this one, and would love to read more of his pursuit. His ability to get under Buffy's skin was hilarious.

Now I see why this one is called "Froschkönig" (Froschkoenig) :) It's very familiar but it works as 'spuffy' too. It was fun reading. I could have read on.. maybe you'll do a sequel. Some day :)

I like this version of how Spike realized he was in love with Buffy. Great story!
