This is such a powerful chapter with the primal forces written in it . I totally loved it! Bravo! It surpassed my expectations and then some.

All I can say is WOW. That was some chapter and can't wait for the next.

Ah, clever: Spike has to answer directly to Buffy's question and he didn't do it yet. Awe, Buffy took the chains off again. She doesn't now how much Spike is playing with her *gg* And yet he came to the realisation that Buffy has power over him. So it's really not clear who will win at the moment. But the game is hot! Seems as if Buffy's slayer demon is in the game too. So she really was growling :) Looking forward to the next step: Spike trying to win!

I liked your story so far, but somehow, now that the thing it ran towards is happening, I find something very important missing, and that is emotions. Here is nothing besides the will to win, and that seems so weird, because I think there would be loads of it going on, but you don´t give any insight besides the obvious game taking place. Also, this is huge for Buffy, but you gave no thoughts or feelings of her away.
It makes it ugly somehow at the moment, I guess I have to wait for later chapters to find anything about emotional involvement........hopefully.....

Author's Response: i'm sorry you don't care for it so much, but at this point, they haven't really developed any deep feelings for each other....they are undeniably attracted to each other, but they're still very much focused on winning... as to not giving away buffy's feelings, there is a reason for it, and more than just the fact that i wanted to write that last chapter completely from spike's perspective....as he has no idea of her feelings or motivations....neither could you ;)....and finally....let's face it, the whole thing is kind of ugly...they're using sex to try to control each other...it's naturally not going to be pretty (sexy...but not pretty lol)...anyways, hope that explains a little bit, and hope you keep liking the story a little better from here on out...once the actual ritual is done, the emotions will start to build more :)

HA HA, omg, Spike is evil, gotta love him. Can't wait to see Buffy's reaction. But I have a feeling the gams is yet to be won, and Spike is counting his eggs before they are hatched. Great update, can't wait for more!
