Spike is right: If Angel weren't Angelus he wouldn't tried to do the same things to Spike he did as Angelus. And Spike proofed a point; he was right about how Angel would react. He, Angel, didn't think of the claim though. I bet he'll have a headache now. Even more if Cordelia gets to know what has happened (maybe?). Well Spike is right again; a dominance claim would connect him with Angel in some way, right? And it wouldn't be forever anyway.
Good to see that once and for all Buffy knows that Angel is her past and Spike her future :))

Oh Spike's mouth got into the way again as Spike painful noticed.
Well at the moment Angel shows that he is Angelus *points to Angel beating Spike*
But now Buffy has talked enough to distract Angelus.. Looking forward to see how Spike will stand.. and win :)

You must have a neverending bucket of angst next to your writing table an you just grab a big old handful each chapter and slather it on thicker than cream cheese on a bagel! Great chapter - love Angel/us' reaction to Buffy's statement that she never "loved" him.
