Come on Buffy, stiff upper lip and all that! Think about all that Spike has been through at "your" hands recently and he's been forced to beat the body of the woman he loves to a bloody pulp. You were in his head for a while, you know what it cost him to do what he had to do (and let's not even go to the sex with the she-bitch party which was so disgusting to him). It's not just your touch right now, I'll bet he's not feeling too best-buds with himself either - he just almost killed someone in front of you via the neck nibble (points for not killing him even after Buffy said it was OK). He's feeling like a slut and a bastard and a bad mate all at the same time - He shot Travers and is probably wondering how Buffy is going to react to that later, and he's probably still wondering about Joyce and the niblet, so cut the guy some slack. This has been going on for him for weeks and you've just been back in your bod for a couple hours (sans ESDB). I think everyone could use a bit of space right now. He's Spike, dig into your memory of him and your experience inside his head and know that he'll be back to loving you proper in no time. Great Chap - well, any time you kill off Travers, Its great! And I love that Buffy got to beat the crap outta him first! I thought Joyce or Giles shot him at first. More please cause I need some really sweet spuffy loving to wipe the taste of the ESDB outta my mouth (oooh, maybe I'll go have a cookie!) more please.

Oh, and we're starting in on our angsty sad portion. But I have faith in the Spuffy, as always! :) And I'm glad Travers is dead, I always wanted the little troll to get what was coming to him.

Such an emotional roller coaster of a day-- I hope Spike can calm the internal storm without pushing Buffy too far away. She was inside of him, and now to feel so shut out, even when she understands why, must be difficult for the character. A great chapter.

*phew* that was in time; Buffy is there now. Oh my, good to see that they, Buffy and Spike working together, were able to gain victory :) I wonder now *points to cliffhanger* what happened with Spike's chip. ~ Looking forward to the solution :)

Oh, a cliffie-- chip or no chip! I liked the standoff-- the bravado, the bluffing. All of it great! Now that the cruel Slayer is gone, I'm digging this story even more.

At last for Buffy's part she has been successful. The watcher is in chains now and she is ready to go get Spike back. I hope the slayer/vampire-mate-radar still works; I don't know how Buffy will find Spike in the desert. *nods* Buffy is there now.
